I usually have my MP3 with all the 70's & 80's rockers on it. I like the old stuff.

    NO HIP-HOP/RAP !!!!

Who do you listen to while in the gym ?

I hear ya on that one. I guess this only pertains to when you are working out without a partner.

Disturbed without question. They have a beat that just gets you pumped and ready for the next lift...

I have always been a fan of Movie Soundtracks....mix of styles, etc.

    1) Vision Quest - great mix of sounds and solid for treadmill since a slow song is near the end for warm-down.
    2) Any of the Rocky Soundtracks

I usually stick to more traditional tech death metal when doing cardio...for example: Meshuggah, Decapitated, Suffocation, Death, Vader, (early) Cryptopsy, etc.

Hiphop or classic rock usually. Strange to go from 50 cent to The Rolling Stones, but its whatever works.

Whenever I'm running or hitting the weights it's Metallica for me on my Ipod. It gets my blood going.

I've been listening to a lot of Disturbed when I work out lately. Like it a lot. I kind of mix up Disturbed, The Offspring, Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold lately.

When ever I'm on the treadmill if Michael Jackson - Beat It comes on the Ipod I find a second gear too lol

The guy who got me into working out is the same way. He runs a lot as well and uses movie soundtracks to pump him up. Last of the Mahicans, Batman and a couple of others that I cant recall atm.

Haha, anyone who drops Vision Quest and Rocky in the same post.. or Vision Quest alone, gets a thanks.

I used to listen to Rocky all the time whenever I had trouble getting motivated for workout.

ahhhhhhh workout music ,,,,,anything hard and heavy,,,from real fast paced rock or hard core rap.

One of the best workout cd's ever i think is a cd that came out in 1992 by the Offspring called Ignition. Also Anthrax's cd Sound of white noise,,,,, and Lords Of The Underground/Nonpoint and a lil LL never hurt anyone.

I run on the treadmill for around 35 minutes....

Slipknot, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Disturbed, Soundgarden, RHCP, Kanye West, The Roots, Estelle and Linkin Park seem to be the norm...

the usual stuff: Ratm, Pearl jam, metallica, the roots, pac, nas, jay z, jimi, the ramones, gnr, stone temple pilots, ozzy, outkast, alice in chains/jerry cantrell.

Strange though when I run I like more mellow stuff like otis redding, carl thomas, jaheim, dave matthews, bob marley, neil young...
