Does anyone else ever notice that the TEs from Indy always look good until they end up somewhere else? Peyton can really spread that ball around.

Been around awhile, and he is more of a blocker than the WR threat.

I think the FO likes Schueman the rookie from Boise ST. But I really hope they get one of these TEs that are coming out this year.

    My Rankings have them

    Bennett
    Davis
    Rucker
    Tamme

Do the bills need a TE more in the athletic pass catching sense or the third tackle on the field sense?

Really I would like one that can do both, block well and catch, but those are few and far between.

Seeing Royal and Gaines are very good blocking I think they will be looking at more the pass catching sense, IF they cannot do both.

The TEs have been getting involved alot with Trent behind center, and the fact that our Oline is vastly improved in Pass Protection.

Like the 2004 version of McMichael when he caught 73 balls and only fumbled twice..

He has been injured EVERY year (all seven of them) he has been in the league, why should 08 be the exception? He can't block, and his hands are suspect. I'm perfectly fine with a guy like Betcht, who can at LEAST do ONE thing well (blocking).

Keeping Martin would be a signal that it's "ok" to be average or worse as a starter on the Dolphins. I just don't see Parcells not cutting him and letting a rookie have a shot. Even if we get a guy in the fourth round, at least he won't be a PROVEN failure like Martin.

You are right, of course, that we have too many holes to fill in one offseason. Some guys will stay on that should be gone, I just happen to dislike Martin for his failures more than the rest of them...

I say draft rucker. Why pick up a back up guy when we could have a great specimen like him.
