I think he has what it takes to be a head coach someday. When Peyton Manning says you are the smartest player he has ever seen that is a high complement.

I'm dead serious. I think Zach can be a hell of a lot more than just a linebacker coach someday. I really really wouldn't be surprised if he is eventually the head coach of a team.

You mean like Mike Singletary? Or at least they are interviewing him for potential HC jobs :wink2:

I think he still has some left in the tank to play, but I have a strange feeling BP is going to want to gut this team of its old D "leaders". To bring in a new bunch with their own culture. Just a feeling.

Jack Del Rio comes to mind. But I still think Thomas plays this year with the Fins, I think we draft a player that can learn under him for a year.

Maybe Zach Thomas can be hired to be the Jaguars defensive coordinator and then halfway through the season be promoted to head coach so he can screw Del Rio over on both levels.

My only worry for Zach is that the concussion he suffered this year starts to become a serial thing.

I was reading somewhere that he blames the whole thing on that car crash, he says he was never the same after that.

    Foiled by the Pats again!

I was being as ironic as possible

Zach has to be the most instinctive MLB as there has ever been
