Just saw 7 pounds...its was good....could have been better, was satisfied with it, but felt something was missing on some of the character development and acting.

I liked it, but not as much as I had hoped.

 

i heard will smith's performance saved the movie.....any truth to that? i heard he was really good

 

Survival Island or Three - 5/10...I believe they changed the title of the move later on due to another film with the same name. Anyways, boring flick with lackluster plot, but I was absolutely captivated by Kelly Brook's naked boobage and love scenes, not to mention she's in a bikini 98% of the movie.

 

One of the best movies EVER!

 

naw the best scene is where vaughn throws a pitch and both the managers are standing next to the catcher and its high and fast as ****. Then one of the managers says "that was pretty fast" and the other says "sounded like it"

 

or when uker is talking about the one pitcher who throws at everyone "he once threw at his son during a father son tournament" lmfao!!!!

I love the part where Cerano wanted live chickens to sacrifice to Jobu in the locker room, so the team brought him a bucket of KFC instead. lol

Certainly, but even he had his moments where you watch his character and you arent sure what he is feeling and why he is expressing it the way he is, and then after the movie is over you think back and still get more confused over what he was trying to "act" like during a certain scene.

But it wasnt bad.....his performance reminded me of his role in Hancock...he seemed confused...maybe thats his deep approach to the decisions he was facing...but the emotion of the role seemed similar to me.

P.S. he looked like the young Ali in this movie as well....LOL!

 

I took one for all the brothers on the site. I just went with the misses to Bride Wars.

On a related note, I took one for the team as well. Mrs. Odin and I just got back from Gran Torino. Wow! What a great film, standout from top to bottom. I absolutely loved Clint Eastwood in this one. Worthy of the hype it is getting. 5/5 stars.

I went and saw Marley and Me last friday with my girlfriend... I actually enjoyed it. She has a black lab thats only about 8 months old... its the devil. So it was pretty hilarious watching that dog in the movie do all that stuff and think... yup... moose has done that... and that... and that...

Saw Starship Troopers 2 and 3 last night. Two wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, and 3 was a riot.

 

just watched slum dog millionaire. Movie of the year IMO.

 

If you like horror/thriller movies, 'The Strangers' was very good IMO. It was like a good older horror movie. It didn't have special effects or anything, which I can't stand. It relied more on imagination and had some really cool camera shots in it.

 

What is it about?

 

Really want to see that. Will have to try to check it out this week maybe.

 

about a kid from the ghetto of india, which if you don't know is super horrible, and how he goes on the indian equivalent of who wants to be a millionaire. I won't say anymore but I really liked everything about this movie.

This movie is up there with city of god another great movie...

 

Just watched Pineapple Express. Had its parts that made it great, but some of it was just not very funny.

 

my friends a pretty big stoner and he hated that movie, so that tells me I should stay away

now harold and kumar theres a stoner movie everyone can get behind.

 

I'm not a stoner and I was very underwhelmed by Pineapple Express. But yeah, Harold and Kumar is a great movie, one of my favorites.

 

Taken - Great Movie. Great Action scenes and was never bored watching it. Liam Neeson is a general bad *** in the movie.

Pride and Glory - I was expecting more from this movie. It was ok but i probably wont watch it again.
