    I trust Huds judgement too.

Well, that was a nice shiny excuse for the benching, but Lieiwinski was getting his butt handed to him out there. Not that there was a lineman who wasn't performing poorly, but having someone kill Beck is not going to look good to the coach.

I rewatched the game another time to see Cory Lekerkerkerkeker and also Reagon Mauia.

Lekerkeker did give up one of the blindside sacks. We well need replacements at both LG and RT next year. A lot of us seem to think our OL is fine but this team is being built to win 2 years from now. Shelton and Chris Liwienski are in their 9th year and they will not be in the NFL then. Hopefully Mormino can return and be a player on our OL.

Mauia is not a good run blocker yet. He was a pass blocker in College. He missed some blocks and on others he just ran into the guy and did not drive his feet. However just being hit by 270 pounds often does the job but if he can learn to keep driving his feet and push he will be much better.

Cam brought in but did not keep Cory Schlesinger. I'm sure that this year Cory would have been the better run blocker. But again in two years Cory will be retired and hopefully Reagon will be a good young FB.

I think Cory is out of football now. I will say Mauia has improved alot form early in the year where he flatout whiffed. If Jake Long is the BPA at what ever pick I'm okay w/ drafting him.

LG and RT need to be upgraded, yes, but so does RG. Being drafted doesn't matter. Rex Hadnot commits too many penalties.

Hadnot's a great pulling guard. He's fine there. But you'll probably get your wish anyway: Hadnot will likely earn more on the free agent market in 2008 than we can pay him, so there's a good chance he's gone after this season. That is, unless he pulls a Kris Dielman.

God he has been over matched all season, against the Steelers, when he was back their for blocking I knew we had no hope.

I'll repeat a quote another user said about David Martin,

why do you think Brett Favre wanted him out of Green Bay? He couldn't block the broad side of a barn

David Martin needs to go, yes. Peelle and a draft pick would be better.

I don't really know what I am talking about when it comes to linemen, Desides, I just see a lot of penalties on him. I see Mormino getting a shot.
