Not really what I wanted to hear. I think Pasqualani did a nice job with what he had to work with this year. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/01/15/chiefs-could-turn-to-pasqualoni-as-next-coach/ Take Bowles instead! lol
Id love for Paul to stay, in fact Syracuse should have never gotten rid of him in the first place. Oh how things would be different....but thats just a bitter syracuse fan talking. At least the basketball team is good!
I think he's second on the list behind Kirk Ferentz, who has not denied any rumors to the vacant head coaching job in KC.
These guys,, Bowles, Pasqualoni, they deserve, but please dear lord, can we have some continuity for at least one season? I swear if they stay one more season I won't complain when they leave us next year!
When Tom Regan was offered a job outside the Family things went badly for him..DC Pasqualoni should keep that in mind..
Where you hear that? I haven't heard anything on it, other than a report stating that when Ferentz was asked about the head coaching vacant in Kansas City, he said he would explore his options.
DC Pasqualoni, Bowles, the Dline coach, all the assistants did a tremendous job for us this season, our Defense was basically the same unit Lil Nicky Saban stocked and to be honest, they mostly were underperformers or long in the tooth, but those guys got them to play well, and as a unit. We'd miss anyone of them who left.
Kirwin and Ryan were talking about this on Sirius NFL radio today when I was leavin work. I was a bit surprised to hear it. Hopefully its not true.
wtf! lol. Leave our coaches alone!! Know what, for all we know, Sparano and Parcells would go out and find a BETTER guy who wasn't available to join our staff last year. The one person unlikely to get interviews, at least, is Henning, since he's liable to retire at any second.... come to think of it, he and Favre would make the perfect pair.
As long as Sparano, Ireland and Parcells stay, we'll be fine. Assistants and Co-ords are replaceable. Know what would be funny? 1) Pasqualoni and Todd Bowles leave 2) New defensive Co-ordinator and Secondary coaches come in 3) New Defensive Co-ordinator and Secondary coach watch Jason Allen run around in shorts and scream, "Eureka!!! He should have been a safety all along! What talent!!" 4) Aug. 23rd 2009, Miami Herald "J. Allen Moved to Cornerback" 5) Third game of the season. Goodman and Will Allen go down with injuries. Jason jumps up and grabs his helmet! The call comes in... "Would anyone *not* named Jason Allen please grab their helmet and get in the game!!!" Jason puts his helmet back down and sits on the bench until the end of December. Rinse and repeat annually.
If either of us are out and about... we must be sure to have our cameras with us. Get a snapshot of Pasqualoni asap and threaten to send it to Madden to be on the 2010 cover. That should keep him right HERE! Okay not funny, amusing, or anything. Ah well, maybe next year.
Winning makes everyone want your coaches. To the misfortune of Miami, it seems to be the first year after winning. With Saban we immediately lost Linehan. And that was right after I thought our offense was headed in the right direction and we had finished 9-7. I just wish teams would leave us alone for a few years to get some continuity. We need to be like the pats, and give all these guys some weird position titles to make their moves to other teams not so justified ha.
I dont know guys. I was beginning to hate our defense near the end of the season. Where is the creativity with the pass rush?
That is something that myself and Sam (Samphin) were talking about during the game as well. Ravens game mostly. Our Defense/Coaches know that a rookie qb is back there under center, and you still give him 5 seconds all day long to throw? It's either an issue with our defensive line and linebackers or a lack or creativity like you have said. I know our linebackers left much to be desired this year, but there is no reason, that in the playoffs(at home), we give a rookie qb the time of his life to "chill" back there and relax.
Excellent reporting, let's keep thowing crap at the wall til someting sticks. A bunch of folks just speculating on stuff they have absolutly no information on and the season hasn't even ended. If we're already getting this dribble, what the hell will they report during the offseason?
