    Jake Long OT Michigan
    6'7 Height 315 Pounds

Just what parcell loves is big physical players that will dominate at their position. Just think about it the browns offensive line got alot better when they drafted Joe Thomas wich allowed derek anderson to sit forever and john beck cant even get 5 seconds in the pocket how are we suppose to win like that? Move Carey back to RT wich he's better at Resign Rex hes reliable and we have satale so we just need to focus on a future stud for LG. Yes alot of people want Dorsey but theres alot of good DT in this draft hopefully we hit a gem. Who thinks this would be a great Draft Pick?

FUTURE MIAMI DOLPHIN #77 JAKE LONG

Why take Jake long when we can get the guy that owned these past 2 years?

    Lets get Gholston

    Or
    Dorsey

    Either one is fine :D

Not good pal. Its the same lemming thinking in here year after year around draft time.

"we need OL" ehhhhhhhh, wrong. we first need to fix a defense that can't stop anyone. Take the best defensive player, period , end of story.

Problem with your theory is that Jake Long is no Boselli, or Walter Jones or Joe Thomas. He's not the athlete they are and many scouts don't believe he can play LT in the pros.

Ginn didn't even deserve the outrage. Jake Long would actually warrant the spilling of beer.

Jake Long is a great pick. Would provide a bookend for the LT and make Carey a bookend at RT. I know a lot you disagree, however, we all have our own opinion.

Jake Long will not play Left Tackle in the NFL. He doesn't have the footwork for the position, and he jobbed two years in a row to Vernon Gholston. If you're getting beaten by speed rushers in college, you're going to have serious trouble in the NFL.

Ryan Clady and Jeff Otah are true Left Tackle prospects, not Jake Long. Though honestly, Vernon Carey is good enough at LT that we don't need to look at a fix for the position over a defensive lineman.

At the first pick in the draft (pre-signed) the Dolphins take:

    Glenn Dorsey DE LSU...

Jake Long might be a fine Tackle in the NFL, we are not in the market for that right now.

dont be surprised if it infact does become J Long. in the article someone posted today it said swirles inside the team are that parcells might go towards Long at T with the 1st pick if we keep it or hte other long as he has ties with taht long (chris)

Right now I think its gonna be Chris Long. Its doubtful they would all be available, but I would be happy with:

    1 Chris Long - DE
    2a Fred Davis - TE
    2b Shawn Crable - LB
    3 Devin Thomas - WR

IMO, the only way we end up with Jake Long is if the GM and Tuna offer the top 3 prospects the same contract predraft, and the one who accepts it we will take...

I know that sounds nuts, it has happened before though, signability becomes almost as important as talent all things being equal.:confused2:

Jake Long? Seriously, I rather McFadden.

There are only 2 players that I want right now (tho it can change w/ workouts and the combine). Right now 75% of me wants Dorsey and 25% of me wants Chris Long. I will be ok with either one, but how can u not like Dorsey? What a high character, highly motivated leader this kid is. Kid puts his heart out on the field every down and the defense feeds off of his energy. I would love to some how have Solai show his full potential and put Dorsey next to him in a 4-3 . . . OMG, getting Tim Bowens and Darryl Gardner/Larry Chester flashbacks when nobody was able to run up the middle against us.

I wouldn't mind Chris Long either . . . only because he plays DE, and its a sexier pick, plus he has a motor like his daddy . . . thing with Dorsey is . . . he is a special DT. Good DT's are all over . . . great/excellent ones are rare . . . I mean your are talking about Dorsey being a higher character, higher motivated and more talented DT than Warren Sapp . . . and that is saying alot, and if he has Sapp potential . . . u gotta jump on him.
