http://www.palmbeachpost.com/blogs/...nalist.html?cxntfid=blogs_inside_the_dolphins I guess we will know by early next week.
They are also talking about it on PFT - http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/01/15/is-something-going-down-in-motown/
He's very confident in his abilities. He says he can turnaround the 0-16 Lions. He just may get his chance to.
Todd Bowles is staying - Lions Hire Schwartz http://www.freep.com/article/20090115/SPORTS01/90115089/Lions+hire+Jim+Schwartz From a proffesional point of view...sucks for him. As a Dolphins fan, Hell yeah im happy he didn't get the job. Our secondary really came together in the second half of the season, and was a huge part of our Division Title Run. Im happy he is staying.
meeeeeeeeeeeeerge there's like 5 of these (including one I made) god i'd hate to be an admin thanks for the heads up tho
Good news. I think the Lions and Chiefs want to interview our guys to at least get insight into our turnaround. I wonder if Pasqualoni leaves, I wonder if we will promote Bowles to DC? Does anyone know if Bowles has any real depth of knowledge or experience working with the front seven of a 3-4 defense?
I think he is an assistant head coach, so I don't think a team can hire him to be a DC... not sure though.
He deserves the accolades and chance to get a gig of his own...I don't know who all they've interviewed, but I hope he's not just this years "Rooney Rule candidate"....would be sad if that were true... OTOH, I'm tickled pink he'll be here with us...our secondary needs a top notch coach, since the players are mediocre...(ok, maybe Bell is better then mediocre, but you get my drift)...
