Ryan to be new Jets Head coach!

    I just heard that he accepted the job, but they won't formally announce it until Mon. or Tues.

    I hope he doesn't turn their D into anything resembling the Raven's D. That would suck, but I assume that has more to do with a personnel thing also.

    Just a heads up. =)

    I'm sure he'll bring a nasty style of defense to New York, but there's a lot more to being a head coach than that. I like Ryan, but his father wasn't a great head coach, and it'll be interesting to see how much alike they are.

    he wont have reed, lewis, scott, etc. jets do have some talent on D though

    I want nothing to do with Terrell Thuggs, Bart Scott I wouldn't mind though.

    Anyway, not the worst hire the Jets could have made if true.

    Vernon Gholston's failures were because of Eric Mangini, not because of Vernon Gholston. Its more like, its STUPID to think Vernon could play like Jesus in his rookie season, in a new system, with hardass HC.
