Has any one ever heard of it? Had one? Had it surgically removed? After close examination and research, I have determined that this is what I have. If any one has had one, did you get it removed? And if so, what was the surgery like? Thanks a lot in advance.
I had one, my dad had one, and also had another friend in the army who had one. I had mine removed before I went I to the service. It was an outpatient surgery that healed pretty quickly. I remember it really only being sore for a few days, but it's a little worse if you sit down alot. Posted via Mobile Device
It means you don't have to stay overnight in the hospital, you go home the same day after a few hours. Is yours painful? Posted via Mobile Device
LOL if I knew how I would have answered anonymous. Mine got infected. I didn't know I had one until I was playing basketball one day. I posted up on this guy and when my backside pushed up into him I felt a sharp pain. It felt like I had a huge pimple in a very strange spot. I remember actually going home and going into the bathroom, turning around and squeeze popped it just like a zit. It was nasty!!!! I actually didn't learn it was a cyst for about another month when I went through a physical to enter into the service. You know it's caused by wearing skinny pants right? LOL just kidding bro. Go get it looked at before it gets more infected. Posted via Mobile Device
Well the reason it is painful is because it is infected. Once I popped mine and drained the puss out it stopped hurting, but I still had to get the surgery done. When I had it done they gave me general anethstetic that knocked me out. When I woke up it hurt for a couple of days, but I was back playing tackle football within a week (wasn't supposed to though) BTW I was making that up about the tight clothes. That doesn't cause it. It's caused by sitting slot and unfortunately gets infected by not keeping that area properly clean (wiping well). That's a lill more embarassing than tight pants! Posted via Mobile Device
so the moral of the story is: wipe your ***? edit: he said outpatient dude, you'll be in and out in like half a day if that. http://www.emedicinehealth.com/outpatient_surgery/article_em.htm
I was actually a delivery driver and yeah I went to work the next day. You might have to use a butt pillow for one day though, so i'd plan it for a Friday. And the moral isn't to wipe your ***, but to wipe more than once! Posted via Mobile Device
Np, good luck bro. But go see a doc to make sure that's what the problem is and not something different. Posted via Mobile Device
I would get it checked out by a dermatologist before going under the knife. Good luck with the surgery! Shouldn't be anything to be concerned about.
