if you watched him closely you
can see the comparisons, the first half of this year and especially the game were he got hurt, i really saw a gracefulness, i saw effortless extension, i saw beatiful route running, gazelle like smoothness.

I cant take credit for the comparison, forget who said it, but it was someone who i respect a lot and totally see it...

Maybe you dont see it, but i dont know ur eye, and you dont know mine, so i just have to go with what i see, and i saw a nimble graceful route runner with great hands and incredible body contortion.

I wouldn't get him. Defensive side of the ball. Period.

If I'm going FA it's one of the holes on defense. If I'm going draft it's one of the holes on defense. Unless it's a guard or center assuming we get Carey to re-sign.

    Why?

Because I think our WRs are more than capable of getting the job done. We got to 11-5 as a team and we missed the remainder of the playoffs as a team. I don't think our most present need is at WR.

I think it's on the defensive side of the ball. We drafted along the lines last year. I think we'll pick somewhere along the lines at some point but we'll also be targeting a MLB and possibly (IMO) a corner. We need to get younger there. I'm a defensive homer, though. I love defenses that don't allow the quarterback and opposing offense to get the job done. I love an offense that manages the clock. Our TOP was fine last year. If we can keep pressure from getting to pennington and allow the run game to develop more and can have a defense that causes turnovers or at the very least give us great field position I like our chances.

I think you guys are forgetting to ask yourself, "Can he teach our young WR's to become better?" I'm not saying TJ could and I can't recall TJ ever being a distraction on or off the field. Never heard him having a bad attitude or work ethics either. I believe we need a veteran WR to help our young WR corp out, whether it be TJ or someone else.

All the talk about Bolden is hilarious IMO, he is under contract and wont be had for less than a 1st. This isnt Randy Moss quiting on his team so he can be had for less, this is simply a guy that wants to be THE guy. If the Cards win it all, he may change his tune and want to stay... So unless you are willing to part with a 1st and maybe more lets worry about the guys that can be had, and thats TJ. I think he is a big upgrade over what we currently have, and as I said Ginn will be a good 2.

I would at least talk to him anyway. One never knows and if he wants out of there bad enough, it may work out. One thing in our favor is that his ypc has been sliding downward a bit for the last few years and may help in negotiations.

it's a lot of money, for a guy that wont be around overly long, that may be on the decline of his talents, that really hasn't shown much leadership and is coming from a chaotic team in many many ways.... just some things that keep me saying no in signing him.
