I have a LG 17'' and it's a good monitor. Doesn't have any problems. Maybe their 22'' is of similar quality?

I have Samsung 22" that works great. I am about to upgrade to an Asus 26 (just want a bigger screen). I had a Dell 24" that had decent image quality but died at only 6 months old. After almost 2 hours speaking to multiple people that barely spoke english I was told they would send me a new unit. They sent a refurbished unit that died after only 4 weeks from exact same issue. I'll never do business with Dell again.

newegg.com has a wide selection and good prices.

Make sure it can at least support 1920x1200 resolution, under 6ms response rate, and ample ports. Good brands I've known are Dell, Samsung, Acer, BenQ, LG, and Asus.

I like the response time, contrast ratio, and the brand but I don't like the max resolution and the brightness if gaming is the goal. If it's cheap and on sale relative to other monitors, then I guess it's ok.
