Due to him disappearing in some games and playing inconsistantly, other prospects like English, etc. rising up the draft boards, there has been 0 talk about this kid in a dolphins uniform.

IMO there should be, he may slide to 25 and with his athletic ability and size, he could fit nicely into a OLB in the 3-4. i think he would be much better in space at LB then he was or possible will be as a DE in the 4-3. he would obviously have to get stronger and play with more desire and fire, but if he did those 2 things he could become a dominate playin the NFL.

what are the thoughts on him with this board?

While his size is intriguing, many on this board have issues with Johnson not showing up all the time ala BJ Raji. He will be hell on wheels one game and completely disappear the next.

I have seen a few GT games this year and IMO I would not touch him at #25 or #44. There are better players at those picks who would fir our scheme better.

Pass. He looks completely uninterested while playing.

This regime will build this team with players that love the game, even if they have some weaknesses in their game. Players like english, pat white, connor barwin. Thats the type of character i want on this team.

I really like English, but yes please especially for Connor Barwin. Kid is soooooo versatile and just loves to play. Special teams demon to boot.

There is definitely a certain point when I would take him anyway. That point might not be #25, but at #44 things start to get a heck of a lot more interesting.

He's had stamina issues in the past that he's improved upon and it made him a better player but you have to remember even though he's a senior, he's pretty inexperienced and it may just take some more time and experience.

I have to agree, at some point the value is too much to pass on.
