He should have them. I can't imagine what he's accomplished to think he should come out early as a TE.

I'm really impressed by Florida B-Ball. They totally have taken control of this game against Bama. They didn't even have a lead in the 1st half and they have had the lead the majority of the 2nd.

    82-75 2:58 left @ Bama

This is a good thing IMO. Our RB have been nothing to brag about since C4 was here. Addition by subtraction.

Losing Holliday hurts alittle though, especially in the recruiting front.

Not if you ask m2c

We probably needed a change the RB coach. Our guys just haven't developed there.

    YOU PICKING ON ME MOTION?????:)

Actually i would think the losing one of the top 25 recruiters in the country hurts much more than as a RB coach. Rivals had both Holiday and Drayton in their top 25 recruiters. RB coachs are a dime a dozen. The part about his not being retained is spin. He and Meyer did not see eye to eye...not gonna go there:)

Word in Knoxville is the Richmond coach is one of two candidates for the open OC position and the two have worked together before. also that Drayton is being brought in more as a recruiter for the C/N Florida connections he has. The other finalist for the open OC position is the former Michigan OC, who is interviewing today, and word is that it is a package deal with their QB coach. Question is that the Michigan QB coach obviously has connections with Mallett and UT would be high on his transfer list....BUT, the Meat Chcken QB coach also has a good relationship with Crompton and obviously Crompton has a couple years in the UT system. The best guess out of Knoxville is the Richmond coach will be offered the position and will accept within the next couple days.

why anyone would want an OC from Meat Chicken is beyond me...they ain't exactly exotic on offense.............

Believe what you want MO...not gonna go there...but this is more cracks showing..lets not discuss..just many people growing belief.............but you are right losing Doc would hurt more...............

I'm not picking on anyone, nor am I questioning the claims.

I can imagine Drayton and Meyer didn't see eye to eye. Meyer has repeatedly said he wants more from the RB position and hasn't gotten squat.

Jeff Demps will announce tonight that he will be a Gator.

Demps is truly a home run hitter and can outrun anyone once he gets to daylight. Demps hits the hole hard and likes to bounce things to the outside. Then, the race is on and he usually wins and beats everyone to the outside. Demps shows great acceleration, vision and balance. He can also surprise you with his power and will lower his shoulder when he has too. Demps also looks to have great cornerback skills.

    Biography:
One of the top running back prospects in the entire state, Demps carried the ball 170 times for 1,761 yards and 21 touchdowns. He'll be one of the fastest recruits in the state.

Thats good news but we need some defensive commits although he could be converted to a corner a position of need.

Hopefully Demps announcing will makes Cyrus Gray less likely to do the same. I still doubt he chooses ND because we're pretty stacked with young RBs but who knows.

Actually we have about 3 or 4 stud DB recruits already, most notably Will Hill who will play FS, Jenkins at CB, and Finley would will either be a safety or converted to LB.

Lets also not forget Jerimy Finch should be back 100% which should be a big boost to the defense.

A bit of good news for Gator Fans...a little birdy has told me that Dan Soldinger as addition to staff (RB coach?) is very close to being done...that would be a huge upgrade not only as position coach but in recruiting to SFLA. That would be bigger than any recruit the Gators get this year for the long term...so M2C does not ALWAYS bring bad news Gator fans.......................

I have met Stan Drayton, very classy guy. I am surprised he even said anything, normally he is a guy that like the behind the scenes work and does not like the attention very much ... definelty a "roll up your sleeves and get to work" type guy ........ must have been one HE77 of a meeting....................

Much to my dismay he is the former UM ST then RB coach that was canned when Kehoe, Werner, and that whole group were left hanging by Larry Choke her. Good guy and VERY well known and liked by SFLA HS coaches, a instant and big upgrade in recruiting, reputation and integrity for UF in SFLA if they can reel him in.

This would be a big "GET" for you guys if goes down..... would not thrill me being a Cane fan, but he is a good man...and great recruiter...IMHO maybe even better than Drayton and for sure better than Drayton in SFLA.

Check your PM's...sometimes your best recruiting job .. is the one you do not get!!!!!!! You will see what I mean..........

I still don't think Tebow can hit a barn form 20 feet...but he CAN however run or throw thru it...if he could hit it......

    BTW.......Someone say cheesecake?

Now official....Clawson (Richmond Coach) is the OC, Drayton is RB coach. Good move for UT on the field...excellent move recruiting wise

...bad for UM with Drayton in Central and North Fl...hope he goes after Gator and Noles....and potentially Solly in SFLA recruiting...............

Also hearing Mallett may be looking at Texas A/M and South Carolina in addition to UCLA.............

The best way to tell that someone has not seen Tim Tebow play is when they say he cannot pass.

You have either never seen him play or you are just a "Gator Hater". (just give him another year or two, lol)

And how about that young Gator basketball team?

And why does OSU even have a thread here? Dann you Ted Ginn jr!

Seen Tebow plenty, not a Gator hater...not my fav's right now, but I am back in when Urban leaves. Tebow has improved in the passing area, still he is no better than a slightly above average passer right now IMHO. I do have to give it to Meyer ..UF has some of the most open receivers I have ever seen, they create a lot of confusion and seperation with their scheme. My dislike for Meyer takes nothing away from my opinion of his being an excellent coach IMHO. Tebow does have a great arm and his personality is such that I believe he will continue to improve, he is seemingly a great kid with a great work ethic....silly comment BTW IMHO to make because someone (and I am not the only one) has a contrarian viewpoint to your own but so be it. He may become a great passer, I actually believe with his personality, work ethic and arm that he will...just do not think he is right now.

Gator basketball team is going to be dangerous IMHO later in the year and they ain't bad now...the Brantley kids are improving by leaps and bounds.....look forward to seeing them in the tourny.

Its tough to get admitted to UF .It requires you to be in the top 2 percentile to be considered for admittance.:hi5:

That definitely is influencing the kind of student athletes that are being recruited too.

The Gators signed a FB but the most significant factor is that he good buddies with someone we would really like to get on defense.
