Warner was very vocal with the refs earlier in the game in getting the other fumble/inc. pass overturned.
IMO not a great game by the refs, but I think it was called pretty evenly nonetheless. I dont think either team had an advantage from them.
the fumble call should of never happened. You would figure 5 OL could block 3 rushers but I guess they cant as we all saw & Warner held on to the ball too long. I swear they should call Big Ben the Big Houdini.
Yep, you can say that again. The flow of the game sucked big time, and in my mind they still funked up some calls. So in the end of it ,,, what the h$#@ was the point. All referee crews call games different and they should just be up front about it and tell the players before hand.................like they do in Boxing " and no i'm not joking"", cuzzz this game was just a joke.If every game ever would of been referred like this game, the nfl would not be what it is today. Some times trying to be right all the time is just wrroooooooonng.
That has to be the worst feeling in the world, man. I honestly felt bad for him. He is an awesome wr. To be on the sidelines watching them drive on your D after you just scored has to be tough.
Yay, the Steelers won. God damn, the only thing that would make it worse is if New England won. Now we get to hear all these obnoxious punk *** snowbird Steelers fans down here in FL run their mouths even longer.
Yeah did feel bad for Fitz. He played with some serious emotion all through the playoffs. Definately established himself as THE premier WR in the league this postseason, no debate. Hopefully he gets another chance. As for Ben, hes bottom elite. Hes not gonna post a Brady/Manning year, but hes a solid QB who wins games, and can make clutch plays and drives. Keep in mind, the Steelers running game was heinous. Atrocious. As bad as the Cards. And the pass protection wasnt very good either. It was basically him buying time for Holmes to get a seam. Yet he still lead the game winning drive with some huge throws. His pocket ability is very much like our own Dan Marino's. Stepping around, moving, just barely avoiding the tackle, then gunning it off at the last second. He still takes more sacks than Dan seemed to, but his pocket presence is generally quite good. And for that matter, just how "elite" was Steve Young lol?
He is an awesome receiver and might be an even better person. I feel so bad for him, especially seeing that gif.
Felt bad for Cards and Larry fitz is awsome and a wide receiver who loves the game itself and will i belive win a superbowl after he leave's the cards lol. Well done Steelers!
The Cards D screwed the pooch on that last drive...feel so bad for Fitz and Warner and Edge. I really wanted the Cards to win this one- screw the Steelers, they have enough already.
