Add this to the Cameron Wake speculation pile: Too bad no one asked him what he sees Wake's actual role being in Miami.
Q: Harvey- I read in the bleacher report that we get a compensation pick for signing Cameron Wake. True? Why? Here is the link- page 2 paragraph 7 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ask-no-i-who-to-re-sign-and-who-to-cut/page/2 RR, LA. A: R.R. let me investigate this today and get back to you. hadn't heard this before.
This is good to hear. Q: Harvey, I'm a die-hard Dolphins fan and 3 year season ticket holder who lives in Buffalo, NY. I really enjoy your column and the information you pre vie us to. Many recent articles and blogs have been indicating the C.P. has been holding meetings with eager Wide receivers and Offensive linemen to develop continuity. It appears that this is having a positive effect on the offense and bringing the team closer. But I never hear about Henne's roll in any of this. What have you heard about his growth so far and does he attend these meetings or show that he is picking Penningtons brain? He is the future and ,in my opinion ,this type of effort would be nessacary out of a franchise QB. Miami Tom (Buffalo , NY) A: Tom, why don't you get your tuchus back to Miami if you love it and its team so much. Come on, pull the trigger. Your city is hurting and your home team will soon be called the Toronto Bills. And yes, Henne is in the film sessions and study groups with Pennington, as is John Beck. C.P. gives these guys tests. He's the perfect mentor for any young quarterback and it will pay off in 2010 and beyond. I spoke to ESPN rising star Trent Dilfer last night and he raved about how much Henne is learning under Pennington. He compared that to David Carr's situation in Houston when he was thrown into the fray with a tissue-thin offensive line and got battered for years. QBs develop a twitch when that happens that they have trouble shaking.
Lol, iam sorry, i cant read it, the club level has spoiled me.. Harvey on the draft just does'nt cut it for me.
lol well he should get a gold star for even trying a Q and A cuzzz Jason Cole didn't get payed for doing his Q and A so i wouldn't be shocked if Harvey isn't ether...........Harvey just isn't the guy they should have talking shop over there, but he does seem like a hell of a nice/good guy. Cole wasn't a draftnik ether but he knew his football and Harvey can be a bit shaky.
Memo to Jeff Darlington.....Harvey Fialkov is busier than you and he still updates his QA daily. Get on it Jeff, or do I need to call Jason Cole?
