Update

My sons fever got up to 105.2 last night,.....i know....insanity...

they got him on an IV immediatley....i didnt get outta the ER till 2.....and i gotta go to work

thankgod my son is ok. His fever went down to 99 and has not spiked back up again

they did a blood culture and the tests were perfect and his white blood cells were all in perfect numbers...

so....he just has a virus his body is trying to battle by heating up

I bet you did, my sister's daughter went through that recently, damn near 106 temp. Scared the **** outta her.

 

yeah over 106 is getting close to causing brain damage.....god its scary stuff...

 

yeh it is. I actually have a lazy eye, (lay off the jokes, Opie) from when I was a baby, I was on a plane and I spiked a fever so fast it sent me into a seizure. Kids immune systems are wacky.

 

I have a lazy eye too.

I was born three months premature and I think it probably explains a lot about me.
