I just saw it and agree with most of the posts above. It was good if you're into horror movies. Much better than Zombie's remake (hopefully he takes notes during this and My Bloody Valentine). Death scenes were cool, alot of TnA, a little bit of humor from a few characters, gore wasn't over the top, ending could have been better but not bad.
Just got back from it. It was OK. Better then the other horror crap that comes out, but by no means better then the stuff in the 80's. The storyline left a lot to be desired IMO. The nudity the producers bragged about epic failed (except for girl #3). The death scenes were pretty eh, too. Sam Winchester was good though. I wouldn't pay to see it again, but I might catch it on HBO or whatever.
The last set of boobs are amazing, almost worth the price of admission themselves. All of the girls are really cute.
i thought all the **** were flat, maybe the last girl had a little to work with. also, interesting how every girl in the movie shows their **** except for the two protagonists. i wonder what that says about our society / directorial decisions.
Hello! What the hell are bad titties anyway? It's not an episode of National Geographic. I enjoyed the movie, Jason was pretty creepy running about and what not. The ending was a bit of a cheeser, but we all know it had to happen that way.
Just watched it and thought it was OK. What they made the black kid do imo was one of the worst parts, "Where you going?" "Thats my dude I gotta go find him." LOL The last fight scene was meh.
I just didn't care for it. I would of preferred CCL opened and running as oppose to run down CCL with an underground meth lab setup. I also didn't care for the missing sister storyline.
The missing sister storyline was kind of a funky twist thrown into the old hunt down college kids formula. I see what you mean about CCL being opened, but how cool was it to see the camp deteriorated and creeped out after years of abandonment? Jason's kiddy bedroom was pretty disturbing too. I just want to know why he killed people. Living that close to all that reefer should have made him a rather mellow, fun fellow. I could see if he killed to get their Funyuns or Combos, not just for the sake of killing.
Dawn of the Dead wasn't a bad remake. I am a huge George A Romero fan and expected the worst but it was actually quite good. Romero's LOTD was the one that ended up blowing chunks. I am pretty excited to see the Friday the 13th remake.
The Dawn of the Dead remake was fantastic, the effects were incredible, the battle for survival was compelling and overall I think it paid tribute to the original. Did you see the Day of the Dead remake? I think it went to video, Ving Rhames was in it as well. What a bunch of horse**** that movie was.
I enjoyed the Dawn of the Dead remake as well. That's probably one of the better remakes out there, of any genre.
