So WAY back in October.... I was reading online about a new MMO being developed for the PC and 360 called Champions Online. I believe this was the game that was originally launched as Marvel Universe Online (before Marvel backed out). Anyhow, it's developed by Cryptic (same losers making Startrek Online) and the little info there made the game look awesome to me. After doing more reading, I realized they are accepting applications for a closed beta of the game starting in a few months. I quickly signed up and crossed my fingers. Knowing that my best bud Mindwarp used to be a big City of Heroes fan (and he's an overall comic book dork) I sent the Beta sign-up link to him as well. Fast forward to last night. Warp comes into my room (we're roommates) and says, "Yo! I got a beta key for Champions Online!" I get really excited and log into my gmail.... Nothing. I waited and waited and waited... NO FREAKING INVITE. So the moral of the story is this: If you see a cool beta sign-up, don't share it with your friends. They might get it and you won't... Thus rendering you an even bigger loser than ever. /rant
if we ended the thread here...it wouldv'e been the best 4 post thread of all time. no offense lucky....stoopid.
I have to agree with Seth here... Lucky, you have a strange way of messing up great things. Please leave.
sucky thing about the closed beta is that its on a timed schedule, so I can only play tommorrow from 5pm to 9pm
