According to PFT, McFadden signed a 2 year, 10 million dollar contract with the Cardinals. Seems to me that if we wanted him bad enough we could have gotten him considering the contract.
I'm mad at that bargain price. We could have done much better than that. Talk about his injury history all you want, but compare a 27-year old "injury prone" starting CB for a CB desperate team to a 29-year old "injury prone" center / guard on a team with an already pretty solid (and extremely young) offensive line. For the price we spent to acquire Jake Grove, this one hurts to miss out on. I'd of offered him 4-years / $20 million or something in that range. Maybe even 3-years / $18 million. Oh well. I trust our decision makers. We'll do something. If we can get Leigh Bodden for a similar price, I'd be thrilled.
wow WTF! they must of not liked him that much, or they just really like and hope someone is there at 25.
I certainly hope they add a couple FA CBs after the draft, or we're going to be well and truly screwed in the coming season.
