I personally can't see this being a big seller (though it should be most likely).

They reviewed it the other day on G4 and they said the premise is you are on an underground game show, or something to that affect. They wanted it to look like a graphic novel/comic, that is why it is in black and white.

Yea, I have no problem with black and white, but I am pretty sure the Wii masses would.

I don't see how the Wii masses would. They wouldn't be buying a more adult game anyways. http://wii.ign.com/articles/960/960820p1.html

I bought it. I'd been looking forward to it since it was announced and it's one of my most anticipated games of the year.

I'm having a good time with it. The controls work really well even though the camera can throw you off a bit at times. Looking for ways to get combo multipliers is good stuff especially since the kills can be so over the top sometimes. Also, I love the art style of the game. The dialogue does gets repetitive though. I'm not trying to rush through it since I've read it's really short but you can replay it on a harder level which I will do once I'm done. :D

Free advertising for MadWorld courtesy of National Institute on Media and the Family Organization.

They should play No More Heroes next.

Wouldn't that make the acronym for the organzation, (NIMFO)?

MadWorld is far more violent, yes.

I guess the point is that there's a reason this...

is on the box and this...

Internet and parental controls. Those two shouldn't go together. How else will someone learn about the birds and the bees? :shifty:

Since when do parents read those? Much easier to peg a system as kiddy-friendly and let it be that.

So did No More Heros. If it doesn't have Mario then it won't sell over 1 million copies.

I'm not going to buy it but I can't wait to play it.

If it doesn't have Mario , Zelda, or cartoonish characters with no arms/legs then it won't sell over 1 million copies.

    Fixed.

Played through the first level last night.... This game is hilarious. Never seen a game get so creative with killing. Very fun. The camera can really get annoying, but for the most part it's a pretty solid beat 'em up bloodfest.

Played about an hour last night, and i agree with Mor, its hilarious. This game has so much style it's oozing out of the console. As a comic book fan, this is a real treat to see a game like this. The storyline is actually much deeper than you're led to believe as well. The combat is fun and you can really kill people in just about anyway you imagine.

John Dimaggio and Greg Proops (The commentators) are also very funny guys as well. The rap music works well as background music. The only complaint i think anyone can really have with this game is the repetition. But, then again, it's a beat-em up.
