Do you say flicking someone off or flipping someone off? I say flicking. I've asked people this before and it seems like half of the population of the world says flick and the other half says flip.
I agree with you there. Pop is simply a ridiculous thing to call your soda. People who say that deserved to be flicked off...
you guys aren't doing a good job of proving my point. LOL. surely there's some people in this forum that say flick.
I want a Soda while sitting on my sofa....WTF is wrong with you people? You sit on your couch and drink a pop! End of story.
people that say pop shouldn't like the dolphins, they should like some team from up north. wait a minute, i forgot that florida is full of people that retired from up north!
Dude, we can't fill the stadium as it is, don't chase off our fanbase form abroad! Let him call it pop while sporting a Dolphins hat...or cap, or whatever he wants to call it!
Listen goofballs its like this. It is Pop not soda Car not vehicle Couch not sofa Hat not cap Dinner not supper and fkin bread not starch.
those above the mason dixon line call it "pop", as in soda pop. as far as the middle finger, flicking the middle finger is ridicoulous. Why not just say extending your true feelings to those whom you disrespect? As far as sounds, flipping off sounds more acceptable to me. Flicking just sounds like a generic ifyouseekay.
Its technically Soda Pop. So either abbreviation is fine. And its flip, not flick. Flick makes no sense.
Dude, I have NEVER heard anyone say 'flicking' someone off. That just sounds ...wrong. How can you 'flick' someone off? Do you like walk up to them and flick'em in the ear or something?
It's been said already. To reaffirm: You flip people off. You flick boogers or you flick people in the ears (ouch! That happened to me a lot in school--at least until I punched that one guy in the jaw for it in 10th grade--stopped after that)
Are you popping off again? Better be careful before someone pops you in the mouth. (LOL...j/k you know) I'll have a gin and soda. Gin and pop? Nope. No one says pop in reference to soda unless you are 60+ years old. You want a soda? And, actually, most people refer to the actual drink. People will ask you if you want a Coke sometimes when they actually mean soda. I sit on the couch with my feet propped up on the table (until my wife yells at me). However, if I'm going to someone's home where everything is really nice, I'll sit on a sofa and try not to get it dirty.
flipped...as in I flipped off Orlandonole at the forum....LOL Soda...even though I originate from New York
Or from the mid-west. my ex and I used to have discussions bout this all the time. everyone I know says soda. she says pop. now our daughter get's in on it, she asks for soda and it sends my ex through the roof! anyway; it's drinking soda while flipping off the idiot next door who is flicking boogers...
i agree with this list except for the pop. and i don't care if its called dinner or supper, as long as i'm invited!
