    dude you must love o'neal.

not sure if you're joking, or you didn't watch the game, but he looked like ****. ok he went 6/16, my bad (with three rebounds).

even wade said we were getting "punked out" on the boards.

during the broadcast, van gundy and mark jackson were comenting on o'neal's lack of lift from the maxiel blocks. they also wondered why JO left herman. called it a mistake.

btw, as far as my cloudy memory, whose guy did JO have to close out on? stuckey was completely blanketed by wade. haslem was under the basket. there was no reason for JO to leave herman. in fact, after haslem's jumper, JO was pulled for james jones.

wade won us the game. haslem maybe. not JO . . .

That is NOT what they said about J.O. leaving Hermann. Mark said that his defensive nature led him to follow the ball under the basket, which is what most PF's would do.

And as far as J.O. not doing his part. His presence alone makes teams game play away from the paint compare the team now to before the trade. Its not Moon alone thats made that difference.

I am not going to explain to you how a CENTER defends that play..you need to learn that for yourself. needless to say..there was a switch that needed to happen ...so our CENTER defends the basket. NOT the Three point line.

and JO was pulled for James Jones because Detroit went uber small and was obviously going to set up for a drive and kick or ISO. so it made no sense to have JO out there.

if anything..it was SPO's fault that JO HAD to close out on Hermann.

as for JO not "winning the game"...the facts are there...without his two buckets in the last minute...we lose.

he broke TWO ties in the last minute or so.

you glossing over that like it doesn't matter hurts your credibility.

Like I said...enjoy your Joel anthony highlight reel.

he said that, and called it a mistake considering wade had stuckey covered and haslem was already under the basket.

So you see nothing wrong with what you just posted?

Shouldn't JO have been under the basket and Haslem been closing out?

Magloire would not have made that 18 foot shot with 1 second on the shot clock. so yeah...JO won us the game.

he did. there is no way around that. his two buckets gave us TWO leads in the last minute. PERIOD.

here..chew on this one as well....

Wade is shooting 55% from the Field since JO joined the team. Almost 7 points better than before.

of course..that is just a coincidence.

you're right. JO won us the game by leaving hermann open for the go ahead three on a drive and dish. you're right JO won us the game by getting blocked twice by maxiel in the final minutes. JO and his 3 rebounds won us the game. JO going 6/16 against kwame brown won us the game.

JO makes one 18 foot jump shot, and a tip in, and you think he "won us the game?" you act like you've never seen four points before.

you're right. my bad, JO is a monster.

The truth is in the middle of you 2...

Fact is, JO is a shell of his former self, and isnt pulling as much weight as he should, especially on the boards. Frankly, I'm pretty disappointed in him. Was hoping to get more production on both ends of the floor for him... and especially on the boards.

However, JO's impact still is very valuable to this team, even if we could use more of it. We are a different and better team because of him. His presence down low has undeniably helped Wade explode after the trade was made. It is NOT a coincidence.

And I'll take a disappointing JO if it helps Wade become unstoppable...

seriously..where were you when JO had his 18 and 10 games and his 28 and 9 game and ..etc..etc...

    here you are...

in a game when he put in TWO go ahead buckets in the final minute...ripping him.

He should not have been on the floor or he should have been guarding Mcdyese on the Hermann three.

the facts are the facts...The TEAM and WADE are better because JO is here. PERIOD.

I will take his 2.2 blocks per game and his 14 .2 ppg to go along with his 48-58 FT shooting.

he didn;t forget how to rebound when he got here. I explained how guys getting beat off the dribble leads to our front line stepping up and giving up offensive rebounds.

+2 on Philly now and I'm sure Portland is going to handle them tonight to deepen that by a half.

another thing you should realize is that JO is soft and has always been soft. he can block shots but thats more of an attribute to his height advantage. hes never been that aggressive on the defensive end. but considering his has always used his height to his advantage, you take what he gives you, which is decent rebounding and an 10-15ppg. ill take it.

With Portland pulling off these close wins @ LAL and @ POR over the last week or so... I am not confident at all in Miami keeping the 5th seed. Our "easiest" remaining games are mostly on the road.

    Miami's next 5:

    @ IND
    @ CHI
    MIL
    ORL
    @ DAL

8 of our last 13 games are against playoff teams. :(

Philly's schedule isn't farts and rainbows either. they have matchup problems in alot of those games coming up.

BTW..I saw that Portland / Philly game last night. Portland got jobbed. Philly got every damn call. look at the FT disparity.

This was HILARIOUS by the way...

I dont know if any of you saw it, but some camera guy said "Oh ****" when he messed up the camera feed, and it was easily heard. Beasley was STUNNED, and couldnt stop laughing. The host was trying to quickly move on from it, but Beasley just kept laughing and pointing...

The entire interview was hilarious though... I love watching that kid... lol

Iggy is a flopping *****. Love the way he kicks his leg out when he shoots the three, too.

When Dwyane Wade gets his next blocked shot, he'll be

THE FIRST PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY
    to achieve:

    2000+ points, 500+ assists, 150+ steals, 100+ blocks during a single season.

Statistically, are we one of the worse rebounding teams in the league?

If not, then numbers definitely lie... Jesus Christ it's pathetic watching this group "attack" the boards.

Yeah, I marked this one as a loss while looking at the remaining schedule.

Doesn't matter how good we are / how bad they are; we can't win in Indiana.

I'd love to pull one off up there, though. I hate that team with a passion.

I don't know what the **** Michael Beasley is going to have to do in this league to get a FOUL CALL. That's why the guy takes so many jumpers; he goes to the rack and gets pounded without a call. Then of course, he sees his teammate Dwyane Wade get breathed on, and, well you know the rest of the story....
