He does offer some sort of a pass rush threat though other than Porter.

He could help the Dolphins alot with his pass rush and leadership. He will also bring fans to the stands. He is not young by any means but the contract won't be for 7 yrs. Probably 1 or 2 year deal at most

Why does everyone say the Patriots are his best bet because they are likely to win the superbowl? Say what you want, they didn't make the playoffs and even with Brady back, a Superbowl birth or even a late playoff run is not inevitable. The defense is old and its unlikely an infusion of high round draft picks on that side of the ball will enhance them greatly this year. I know they are good but this Super Bowl talk like its a formality every year is getting old.

I think the writer is looking at this the wrong way, we have needs very much like the Pats, specifically passrushing linebackers who can contribute early to winning.

To follow the writers logic, we should draft a pass rusher, while the Patriots sign JT who is ready to go from Day 1, and both teams need pass rushers..

And what will JT do in that year or two he milks this team for his last salary as an NFL player? If his production is anything like at Washington...THANK YOU BUT NO THANKS!!!

The only thing he would be doing is taking important reps from our younger players...OUR FUTURE STARTERS.Why put our players who will be the future of this franchise behind JT who won't even be here when it matters most.

If you think JT will bring this team to a super bowl SORRY BUT YOUR SADLY MISTAKEN.Our drive to the super bowl will be from our younger players who GAIN experience the next year or two and BLOSSOM as well as over achieve because the were given playing time///

Build for the future...Some people have lost sight ...JT is not this teams future
