I'm curious who you would call a "true" fan by their responses to Ricky
    starting.
would a true fan not want the fins to win?
does he give us the best chance to win?

That and we are depleted at Running Back and if we try to trade him he needs to play some this season just to show he still has the talent to play.

If we just cut him the Chiefs would sign him in a minute and we would lose a 5th round pick to them as well as giving them a starting RB.

True = Passioniate = Ol' School = Tradition . . . Some fans just want the Dolphins to be a classy organization, not deal with all of the "circus" that the Dolphins on some occasions have become. Even if it means not letting a stud back like Ricky play . . . and I can respect that. I'm not in agreement, but I can respect it.

And he shouldn't be doing either, IMO.

well Gary, believe me, I know how ya feel, BUT, if we can increase his trading value, and help the team, it would be foolish NOT to use him somewhere

I respect your opinion on the subject, but, I respectfully submit that
his cleats should've never hit the feild for the Dolphins after his second
chance. Everybody can screw up, and, as mad as I was the first time, I
took a breath, swollowed it down and, said..."Ok...Welcome back."

It only takes two times for somone to spit in my face to make me wash my
hands of any relatioship with them. I seriously don't think playing him for the rest of the season is going to increase the trade value of a guy that's a
toke, a "misunderstood suppliment label", or a bad personal association away
    from a perma-ban.

Some things are more important to me than utlizing somone like that to
"help" our team. I think the bigger "help" would be to summarially toss him out
on his ear and make it known this organization isn't going to have his sort
crapping all over the Dolphins name.

I understand the logic behind utilizing him and, I'll be cheering if he helps Miami put a W on the board, but, this is a case that I believe principal should dictate of a "bottom line" logical path.

I don't think Ricky starts, but he will play some. I really don't want him back, but lets get his value up so we can get something for him.

If we just cut him you know he would have been running the ball last night for the Pat's

Ricky IS starting tonight...and they're saying that he's going to get the bulk of the carries. Cam said that Ricky knows the playbook, too.

Well, from what I saw on ESPN, Kornheiser or Wilbon was reporting what Cam said.

Good thing I picked him up as my fantasy running back this week. Hard to beleive he is starting. But this is a crazy year so nothing amazes me anymore.

If Chapman is dressed, I think Cam starts him. If not only to stay with the guys who have been here.

They all seem to know what we are doing, but he (Cam) has said nothing yet.

I will be profoundly disappointed in Cam if he choses to start RW if Chatman can go.

Well there we go. Kornshnoewzer and Wilborn said it...what a joke. Those clowns should commentate New Years Eve parades or something they are more equipped to do...

As for Ricky Sticky bud...Gotta once again agree with Marty. I dont hate him, and I hope him the best, hopefully running for perhaps Houston next year as we get a 4th or 5th round pick.....thats all!

Well, it's one thing to argue with their personal opinions on things, it's completely different when they are reporting what they said Cam said.

As to Ricky, I'd like to see him tear it up. I don't care if it's only to get his trade value up. However, if he turns out to still have what it takes to be a great running back in the NFL, I'm not opposed to keeping him in a Dolphins uniform.

Cornhoser and Wilboreing are entertainers, much like Skip Bayless, and, most of the dorks on ESPN...If you watch closely, you'll see that they're not taking themselves very serously....almost like.."Screw it...We're getting paid to have fun with this".

Pretty much makes MNF un-listenable. IF it werent for JAWS, I would completly mute it..

OH BS, who am I fooling. I mute it anyways, not even Jaws can overcome the absolute mediocraty that is spewed....

What does a player with superstar talent have to do, as opposed to, a scrub, to make you not want him on the team anymore?

I'm just asking. Do superstars get to do more? Less?

I'm not mad, just for discussion's sake.

    I do love Jaws!

Cornheiser was an awful choice..Almost as bad as Dennis Miller...But, since
MNF is on ESPN now, nobody cares about the ratings.

I'm not a big Tirico fan either...He adds nothing to the broadcast. He's
a well-polished broadcaster, but, he adds nothing.

I think everyone's so scared of making a mistake in casting now they'll go for a "safe" choice.

That booth doesn't last past this season i think.

I liked Dennis Miller on MNF.

Sadly I also thought the best MNF crew was Dierdorf and Al Michaels...

This post hits the proverbial nail on the head.

My love of the Miami Dolphins cannot be questioned, I have been here through the good times and the bad times. If it makes me a bandwagon fan to be excited to see how #34 plays tonight, then so be it. I just hope we win.

I love Dennis Miller...I think he was wrong for MNF though.

IMO that would be one of those "Cut off your nose to spite your face" It is not out of the question that a playoff bound team might want him NOW!! and his value to a desperate team going to the playoffs would equate to a 4'th or 5'th Rd. pick for him NOW. Please someone correct me if the trade deadline has come and gone, because if that is the case this scenario is mute, but on a rainy, sloppy field he may turn out to be a pretty good option.I am more concerned about what Parker may do to the defense.:)

Deadline is gone and past, but if we just cut him he would have been in the Pat's backfield last night.

We should play him some and see if we can get a conditional 6th for him that could move up depending on what he does.

man, what a bunch of psyco babble bull... I don't know where YOU played football, but everywhere I have played, everywhere I have ever heard of, the ONLY thing that matters once you make the team is starting. Starting IS THE REWARD, for effort and good play... Every man on the roster wants.. lives for, getting the call to start.. Starting IS the goal of all the work, the summer sweat and heat prostration they all go through. Apparently, you don't understand this concept.. I mean, it's only over a hundred years old, this simple concept of rewarding your hard working players with the HONOR of stating the game.

And guess what disgustipate.. despite armando's LIES, the coach feels the same way "I" do, because he did not start the dope head did he... and tell me, how did that go.. how did the SAVIOR save us.. oops... he fumbled the ball.. and it only took 6 carries for him to once again hurt his team. Amazing how y'all defend this scum bag who screwed you 5 times and 44 games worth.. and you are BEGGING for more... that noise you hear might be my laughter at all ricky is god and will save us camp. It sickened me to see him in our uni again and I am glad I don't have to suffer this sickening love fest the rest of the season.
