I did a F&F movie marathon this weekend before I seen part 4. Part 4 wasn't bad, not epic as you said and the last scene made me laugh big time.

It was cool to see Han in the beginning. I liked him in part 3. I actually liked part 3 the best out of them all, Plus, part 3 seems more realistic than all the others.

Saw the 'Friday the 13th' remake today at the local dollar movie theatre. The violence and boobs were worth it, but I'da been disappointed if I'd paid full price to see it.

I saw Watchmen a few weeks ago, it very good.
I rented Milk last weekend it was an excellent film, too much dude on dude action but still a great movie.

Finally I rented Quantum of Solace, it was a disappointment, Casino Royalle was better

I saw Gone Baby Gone the other night again, and it was still just as good as the first time.

Watched a VERY underrated werewolf movie from a few years ago called "Dog Soldiers".

Check it out if you get a chance and are into the genre.

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_0Ej5N-hFQ"]YouTube - Dog Soldiers Trailer[/ame]

Summary: Sergeant Harry Wells (Sean Pertwee) leads a team of British soldiers on a routine expedition to the Scottish Highlands. The six men would rather be at home watching the game, but they are even more dismayed when a carcass lands on their campfire. The next morning, they happen upon a severely injured Captain Richard Ryan (Liam Cunningham) and the bloody remains of his squadron. Soon they are attacked by giant werewolf beasts and chased through the woods, only to be saved by zoologist Megan (Emma Cleasby), who explains some of the truth about the creatures. They all take refuge in an old farmhouse while the threat of the monsters looms increasingly heavy.

I usually like moronic humor, but this was on a whole different level. Usually even when a movie is bad I can find at least one character to connect with in some form, but I didn't feel that with this crapfest. I think I chuckled once and spent the rest of the time like this...

I loved Superbad. The movie was just rancid with it's humor.

Favorite part was McLovin and the cops. Good times.

Superbad is the most overrated movie of the past couple of years.

I thought some parts were funny. (Bill Hader & Joe Lo Truglio) Seth Rogen was decent in it because he was in small doses. I still forbid myself to watch a movie of him where he is starring.

Ok, the more I thought about this movie, the madder I got. It is relentlessly dreary and needlessly brutal, all to make a point which is lost in the film's illogic. Horrible.

    Dark City
is one of my five favorite movies of all time. I must have seen it at least 10 times. Stitches, you are very fortunate to have seen the director's cut first, as it makes a classic movie even better. Definitely worth owning on Blu Ray.

    ***

Also over the weekend, I saw "Miracle at St. Anna's," which was meandering and ultimately unsatisfying, despite being light years more bearable than "Blindness." And I wrapped up the weekend with the wonderful "Princess Bride." While I had seen it many times, this was my first viewing on Blu-Ray, and it was great.
