Anyone else a fan of the show? I have just caught up with this season and so far so good... According to reports Spoiler Someone is going to die and i believe, according to the preview, that next weeks episode will show it. Also i like to say, i was not a fan of the whole idea of a new cast, but they did an amazing job freshing things up and i really like the new people, opposite to what scrubs did with trying to get a new cast...
Love House! That and 24 are my two favorite shows. I always liked the idea of a different cast. As you said, it keeps things fresh and gets more story lines. This season overall has been very hit or miss, but mainly hit. There have been a lot of great episodes this season, but a few so-so ones.
I'm a huge fan, have been for a while. I don't miss an episode, BUT..I think the show has fallen off from it's past. I still love it though.
Don't really watch it but it was on in the background and there was a Pete Yorn song on that really didn't fit the moment.
Used to be the one of the best shows around... Season 5 has been a big step backwards. Tonight's episode was weak... Kutner shouldn't have died, he was awesome. According to him, he didn't even ask to be written off. They just killed him for no good reason.
I thought the episode was powerful and the suicide/murder really came out of no where. Very interesting.
I agree. He was a great character and they just killed him off to get that sad factor to the show. Was not worth the loss of a great character on the show. Why not kill of chase? i mean he is barley on the show anymore? it would have made the same sense as kutners death, as in it made none. Kutner was my favorite character on that show, minus house
Here the deal with threads like these, if you watch the show, and see the thread pop back up, and have not seen the episode, most likely the reason it poped up was to discuss it. Thats why avoid looking at the threads until you seen that weeks episode. Thats what i do with 24, i have not seen it yet so i stay out of the 24 thread
Also here is my biggest complaint about that episode. After Kutner died, i did not care about the story line. It was pointless. The death took away from the other plot one thing i will say is this, Suicide could happen to the person that you least expect. In this case no one thought Kutner would kill himself. He was always the happy guy cracking jokes. It was his defense mechanism. Its weird because in episode 12, Kutner said that someone like him could not commit suicide, because when your life sucks like his does, there is no where to go but up. I think House did a good job showing that Suicide is not predictable, and you never really know how a person is feeling.
I just find his death odd... I mean, the writers must have gone through every character. How did they come up with Kutner? He's considered by many to be a top 3 character (House, Wilson, Cutner IMO). Same with Cut throat *****. She was great. Her death was a great episode, but it had no consequences for the larger show. Pointless... I don't see the logic of killing Kutner no matter what. I thought the episode was awful too. Just my opinion...
I also liked Cut throat ***** but her death was amazingly done. That episode was amazing. I already lost Bill, now Kutner. I wonder who's next. If its Tony again i may just lose it.
http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/04/house-exclusive.html#comment-152004349 looks like he wanted to leave the show to peruse a job with the at the whitehouse
I still can't believe that the woman who played Meat Loaf's wife is the same woman who played Brian Doyle Murray's wife in "Wayne's World". Man..."house" is appropriate in this instance...
Hmmm, that makes it a little more bearable. I read an excerpt somewhere and he said he didn't ask to be written off. That's odd... Maybe he was trying to throw the spoilers off.
