Premium is done by nomination. You can be nominated and not achieve the minimum requirement for the vote. Basically works like any greek frat or sorority. You pay a small fee to be part of it but once youre part of it, youre family. You do not need to be VIP to be nominated, though I will say for myself I rarely leave VIP unless its to moderate or search for news.

The premium forum rarely talks football, its more about forging personal relationships and for those willing to donate to the site. In essence it is a board of trustees in that we believe in putting the board first and believe first and foremost that the board is about the members as much as it is Dolphins news. Hope that clarifies it.
