Price range or not, since you are a car lover, would anything really intimidate you? Say a ferrari pulled up to me and I knew it would destroy me, I know Id never ever own one and the only way to really appreciate its speed would be to watch it flow by you. Say Im going 100+ mph and one blows by me, Im not going to be intimidated, Im going to smile and say "thats awesome!"

And living in DC, I see a lot of those cars driving around Georgetown..... modified M5s, Ferrari's, Lambo's....

And that price point of that beemer would be similar to the price point of the new vettes I believe.... arent the new vettes going to be around 100k with a supercharged 6.2 putting out around 640 hp?

Also, that beemer wasnt designed for 0-60 or 1/4 mile, it was designed for max top speed. Im sure a motorcycle or another car could beat it in a 0-60 sprint, but theres going to come a point where that boke or car reaches its top speed, and that beemer goes flying by..... which is damn impressive for a sedan.

Heck, I've been in my wifes RAV4 and a Porsche or vette pulls up next to me driven by a guy in his 50s with grey hair and ive kicked it into neutral, revved that V6, and yelled out the window to the guy "lets see what you got baby!". I knew he'd kick my ***, but the only way I can appreciate those cars is to see them driven hard in person.

"Moving in stereo!" very true! love the Phoebe Cates, and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" reference...

along those lines, i firmly believe that every time i hear the Jackson Brown song "Somebody's Baby," Jennifer Jason Leigh is getting nailed in a a dugout at a high school baseball diamond somewhere.

Games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band get a lot of people interested in music. So I don't really get the hate. I was inspired to buy myself a guitar [a reasonably priced Epiphone Les Paul] about a year ago and I play all the time. It's just another medium to enjoy great music through.

Anyway, on with the hilarious posters.
