What Military Rank Were/are you?

I left a month ago. I was a Staff Sergeant.

 

Does having a thing for men in uniform count?

 

I was a SPC when I left-I could have extended and taken the promotion to SGT (I had the points built up), but decided to go back to civilian life.

I retired as a MSgt in the Air Force in Mar 2006.

 

Just did 4 years in the Air Force. Plenty for me...

 

We need an option for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

 

Got out in 2003 as an AD2 - A 2nd class - which is an E-5

 

Technically...he works in the White House and has ZERO power to order a theatre commander.

But he does have a snappy title.

 

Got out a Sgt. (E5) in 1993.

 

Passed the E-6 exam (was able to take it as I was extended-Thanks LBJ) but didn't ship over so wasn't allowed to sew the crow on. Came out as a RD2 - thats an E-5 mates! My specality: Air Control and ECM. Hit the Beach in the Summer of 66.

I finished as a E-3 and got out in 2006

 

I fit in 2 categories...Retired AF E-7 and now Navy civilian (YA-2/GS-12 EQUIV).
Might change my username to FlyingFish someday.

 

E-4 (P) and gettin promoted as soon as I get back to the states.... Oh yeah, REDEPLOYING HOME IN A WEEK!!!

apparently i was a deck hand for the navy when i was three. i found pictures at my moms of me donning my sailor gear but funny thing is i don't remember ever being on a boat. i do swear like a sailor at times. if i find that picture again i will prove i was once a seaman.
