Nope. I am not supporting this team.

 

Beasley is having a hard time passing the ball. Does he have to shoot every time he has the ball?

 

This reminds me a bit of Miami vs Charlotte back when Baron Davis was with the Hornets.. This can get ugly very fast.

 

I am very disappointed in this basketball team. If you're not good enough then you're not good enough. But why the **** are we chucking up contested jumper after contested jumper with 20 seconds left on the damn shot clock?

Like I said, I call it how I see it...

Michael Beasley is frustrating me more than any member of this team right now. Attack the basket or don't play.

 

Have you watched the playoffs so far? Miami is overmatched in nearly every facet.. We have a very weak bench, and a few scrubs surrounded by rookies.. Without Wade this team is bottom 5.

Don't give up.

This team is playing with no heart, emotion, effort, or anything close to it.

This is the most disgusting display of Playoff basketball in franchise history. Atlanta isn't even playing their game right now. If they were, they'd be up by 30. They should be up by 30. Wade is turning it over every time he touches the ball then crying when he doesn't get the foul... Beasley is chucking away... Haslem's injury is showing... J.O. is like, nowhere to be found... Chalmers too... Moon as well.

JO is a shell of himself. They guy has no legs and is a liability on D.

Dude you are a young kid. Trust me this ain't ****. If you want to see a team get routed watch the Hornets - Heat in 2001 when we got run off our own court.

This is not a very good bball team. We have no depth and are not athletic, on offense, but especially on D.

I had season tickets that year and I was there... I saw it. But I'd rather not remember it. Right now... this team... they're embarrassing.

Down 20 points right now and Atlanta isn't even playing well.

 

Embarrassing is winning 15 games.

This is reality. Beyond Wade we are pretty below average team, talent wise. No experienced ballers..

 

Wade has 6 turnovers.

Game is not over yet, but it's pretty close to it... we have to win the 3rd Q by at least 8-10 points to have a shot.

 

I had a feeling we were going to get crushed in this building, though. I'm just a super homer.

This series might be identical to BOS / ATL last year. We are equally horrendous on the road.

 

How do you get crushed by 20 in the first half and come out with a shot clock violation on your first possession?

 

Our rebounding makes me cringe..

I like Chalmers and his energy today. This kid is going to be our PG through many playoff series.

 

Team looks like they're resting for game 2.

Chalmers is the only player on the court playing with a sense of urgency right now.

I *HATE* Jermaine O'Neal. He's easily grown into my LEAST favorite Heat player since Clarence Weatherspoon.

Beasley attacks the basket for the first time tonight... he scores of course. And he does it again.

Why not in the first half, Beas? Better come out attacking Wednesday night.

 

If we decide to attack the basket we WILL dominate this series. I have no idea why we've kept throwing up 3's and long jumpers.

And Wade did absolutely NOTHING in the third quarter. If he at least made an effort, maybe we're IN this game.

 

Daequan Cook since the All Star break has completely lost me as a fan.

He's had one good game since then. Seriously. One good game.

 

This is where I miss Pat Riley.

He'd send a guy like Yakuba in there to flagrant-2 Josh Smith or Joe Johnson. Call it dirty, but I am all for injuring or at least sending a message to the opposing team's star player(s). I don't promote injuries, but this is a physical basketball game and the school of hard knocks is where basketball originated. It's time for us to play dirty since this game is over, yet the series is still young. Riley, make that call to Coach Spo. Send a message. Take one of their guys out... send someone flying into the stands on the next layup / dunk attempt. Let's get SOMETHING positive out of this one.

I miss James Posey for the same reason.

 

If we lose Game 2 somebody better get flagrant-2'ed

I still think this is a series until Atlanta wins a game in Miami. They're as bad as we were tonight on the road.

Wade is going to have to score 50 in a road game for us to win the series, though.

 

That was painful to sit through. The one game I looked foward to seeing was my worst nightmare. Here's the main problems I see that could very well get us swept in this series:

1) Atlanta has way too much size on us, the rebounding edge killed us.
2) No one else besides Wade is stepping up when needed, except for an occassional glimpse from J.O. or Beas.
3) Wade looks tired, and being that postseason just started that worries me the most.

 

i like magloire. he actually rebounds and tries to play defense. he sucks, but his energy is contagious.
