you know what, you dont know jack about music. if i say led zeppelin is the greatest band of all time, cover band or not, YOU MUST AGREE. what exactly dont you get? You sir are wrong, wrong, wrong. Everyone, Same hates Led Zeppelin. Boycott all Borderlandsam-sponsored events.
prove me wrong. their singer (either of them) sounds like he was kicked in the balls. highly annoying.
Agreed. The Who > Led Zeppelin. The Eagles are very, very good, but for some reason they seem to get a lot of disrespect from people. I used to never like AC/DC, but they've grown on me the past few years. I think you made a typo there. I believe you mean Led Zeppelin is overrated, and Van Halen rocks. Big time.
no typo. read my previous post. both singers of VH sound like they were kicked in the balls. EVH guitar playing is 80s rock/metal guitar (which i can't stand). Bohnam did things with his single kick drum that it took those rock and metal guys double bass drum pedals to figure out.
obviously you havent taken a trip in ur mind listening to "Eruption", "Atomic Punk", "On Fire", "Somebody Get me a Doctor", "Unchained", "Outta Love" and my all time favorite "Lighting up the Sky".
thats ur problem right there. you need to listen to it 5000 times before you truly appreciate the work of art that it is.
in all seriousness, sometimes it has taken me a few times to truly appreciate an artist or bands work. Mars Volta for example. Couldnt stand them when i first heard them because of the lead singers vocals. Now I consider them one of the best bands in the past decade(not that that is saying much).
David Lee Roth has an amazing singing voice, and that comes from someone who isn't even really into '80's heavy rock (VH is one of a few exceptions).
it has happened to me a few times that i've let it.. and most of the times i have liked what has come out of that. but if i've listened to a song or a band so many times (the radio around here plays VH constantly...) then i know i'm not into them. i think van halen are talented at what they do (with the exception of mr. "i've been kicked in the balls"); it's just not my thing. for the record.. i do like jon anderson of yes' voice. so i don't know what it is with the guys from VH but there is something there.

goooooooooodddddddddd morrrrnnnnnnnnniiiinnnnnggggggg JTT'errrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssss !!!!!! less than 24 hours i will be on the road towards jersey!!!!!
Good morning all. Led Zeppelin rules, Van Halen rules, Tesla is the greatest American rock band, with honorable mentions going to The Eagles and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Anal Gap needs to realize that Van Halen has had 3 singers, not 2 and none of them sing like they have been kicked in the balls, and I am Sam's new nemesis. It's good to be alive.

"Kashmir" is far and away my favorite Led Zepplin song. Love bustin' it out at karaoke. Love that picture! Definitely WTF, but catchy.
I sent that to some co workers and they are all cussing me now saying, dam it I cant get it out of my head now, I keep hearing "Thats vewy Hawt".
