    OK fellow Dolfans,

Let's post our draft day observations here, shall we?

You know, surprises, disappointments. Well, hopefully no real disappointments (for us anyway), reaches, steals. You know...whatever.

OK, it's almost four o'clock and I just popped my first top. Let's go baby!

Still have a real hard time accepting the fact that a kid can get $42 mil GUARANTEED without having thrown a single pass in the NFL. Something is definitely wrong with that IMO. :pity:

I honestly hope Stafford becomes a good QB to pair with Calvin Johnson,, it's just awful to see so many good receivers being useless on that team or becoming busts

the Lions are suffering for like.. forever, lol

Detroit still has one more pick in this round. I expect an offensive lineman to be next.

And I'm glad Stafford is looking out for his mom.

Initially, I was thinking OT with the other first round pick but I have a feeling that they will wait until the first pick of the 2nd round for that pick.

The next pick should be interesting. Does KC trade out of the three hole? And, if not...do they take Curry?

The hot pick in the past 24 hours has been Tyson Jackson to KC at #3... IMO, that would be a huge mistake. Curry is head and shoulders above any other defensive player.

    I agree tractor

they'll pick one of the them,, Curry is the safer pick IMO, though I believe the Chiefs will go with Jackson

Yeah, I don't necessarily think it's a bad pick. Besides, you gotta give Pioli the benefit of the doubt...don't you think?

I don't think it was a great pick. They shouldn't have passed on Aaron Curry.

3-4 DE is not a hard position to find... why take a decent 3-4 end when there is a potential elite LB available. You can still land a solid 3-4 DE in rounds 3-5. I mean look at our draft last year, Langford was a day 2 pick.

Im 2 for 4 but if you can hit on some of those '15-25' picks, you can do well.

I think Browns go with Crabtree. All of this Braylon Edwards trade talk can not go by the way side...

3-4 end is hard to find in this class. They lack the position greatly and the one guy they have right now they are trying to move. What they wanted from Curry is a pass rusher and they were not sold on that.

I wouldn't count out Malcolm Jenkins. Crazy I know but I wouldn't count him out. I'm thinking they will reach with a player here. We'll see.
