well that really depends doesnt it? im really surprised we picked up 2 project players in White and Turner.
Lots of competition at the WR position this year Ted Ginn Greg Camarillo Davone Bess Ernest Wilford Brandon London Pat White (QB?) Patrick Turner
Back at you what if white IN the game as a reciever and hopes back to the QB. No time for the defense to change players and of course they will think hes going to be running, but than again he could take the snap and toss deep right just as easy. He's a real QB not a HB trying to pass.
that's why the competition is open.. I don't believe we'll carry all of them,, and to be honest if I had to cut one of them now, it would be Wilford.
check that..we drafted earnest wilford with better hands.he is the type of reciever we lacked last yr.big, strong guy that can actually catch the football.it will be nice to see him over the middle, much better possesion reciever than wilford could dream of being. i like the pick.

Dude never lived up to his potential at USC, that scares me a bit. Seems a bit early for him to be drafted.
Everyone saying this is a big reach. Not thrilled but in draft 2 ill still give the FO the benefit of the doubt until they have 1-2 really bad drafts. Hopefully he can be what Wilfred was supposed to be.
But I believe this group has potential we have Ted Ginn entering his 3rd season, 2nd with this staff, he may improve a bit more we have Camarillo and Bess, once an unexperienced guy and a rookie playing in the slot(?), now they're coming back with some starts under the belt,, and both did good we have Brandon London and now Turner battling the possession spot and Pat White, the X-factor, whose align as QB, WR, HB, whatever with the wildcat we don't have a guy that clearly stands out, but the group overall talent is fine IMO
the guys light really came on his senior season and with the slew of reciever's taken the 5 picks ahead of us he might not have lasted till our next pick. i can really see him taking wilford's job this yr which is a good thing. is he a #1 reciever that some on this board wanted?no,but he was the type of wr we needed.we have small fast wr's out the wazzoo so he should be a great fit here not having the pressure of trying to be the #1 guy.
Happened to catch this on ESPN, Kiper is ripping teams, including ours, for the picks in this round. Then you have Herm Edwards saying you take guys who fit a scheme in the 3rd round, no starters but some niche guys, sounds like Wanny.
740 yds, 10 tds, solid senior bowl. 6'5 225 Why was this guy considered so low? If he didn't go to USC he'd be considered a beast.
Or Brandon London. We just drafted a guy to do the job that neither Wilford nor London was able to do. Now we have three guys who will compete in training camp for essentially the same role.
Because his overall career is disappointing. Plus he lacks deep speed and from what I saw of him, which was not much, did not seem to break many tackles. FO thinks he will be better than he was in college and his red zone skills were too good to pass up.
It seems to me that we wanted a red zone threat, Ramses Barden just got picked up 2 picks ahead of us and we just pulled the trigger on the next biggest guy, even if we had to reach. Not sure why we picked this guy in the 3rd round, especially with other good talent on the board...
TEs not a big need but since they are focused on offense, maybe Nelson? Or a G/T like Robinson or Meredith.
Hartline hmm interesting I don't like the Idea of loading up on a position that we already have depth at.
