i did good today. took wifey out to buy a hand bag.....she was so surprised and loved it.....she got an awesome pink and black Chanel hand bag.....she loves it. and also got some Chanel ear rings. for me!! now i can drink and do my show in peace tonight

Thanks everyone. We'd love to do something for Mom's day - can't afford it since we're saving for an apartment. I got a beautiful card from hubby and kids and a bouquet of roses. Your sentiments mean volumes as well. We'll be out again apartment hunting tomorrow. Wish us luck!
good luck. renting is better anyway. in my opinion no one truly owns anything anyway. also with the renting you get your leaks, etc fixed as part of the agreement. no grass cutting also (i dislike - yet seem to do a decent bit of - yard work).

OT: Lemme just tell ya. The place we went to look at today was $895 for a 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. Bedrooms were pretty large and the kitchen very nice and painted really nice. Then Chris said he forgot his checkbook at home. The guy said "Oh, that's okay, I prefer cash anyway." Had to pay him $60 cash just for the credit report and background check and no receipt. And then when we told him we had Bean, he said "can't you get rid of it?" Hello, I'm not going anywhere without my dog. She keeps me company all day around here while the girls are at school and Chris is at work. So I showed him a picture of Bean from my cell phone. This dog is very low maintenance. Goes out in the morning to do her business and then comes back in and sleeps and snores on the couch all day. Only barks when someone rings the doorbell. 10 pounds soaking wet. So he says "Okay, you can bring the dog for an extra $100 a month." Anyway, Happy Mothers Day to all the lovely moms of our site.

speaking of mothers. this is my moms yard. she was a gardener for 20+ years. there is an x berry azalia is in the foreground (pink blooms) and hostas galore in the background.. plus some ornamental grasses and some other things.. i love coming here during the spring and summer because of this... there's a whole other side that you can't see... i loves my mama.
