Typical, Ted Ginn haters who think everyone supporting Ginn in this silly forum game is part of the mafia. Your sour hatred seeps through. Some of us actually vote based on players we think deserve to be there. I havn't taken off one point from Ronnie/Chad the entire time, but have given most of my attention to Ginn because of all the hatred most of you have been spewing his way.
Sorry if you feel lumped in. At least a few of the recent string of Ted Ginn votes are admitted mafia members. There's no hate. I'm a big Ginn fan and I'm having fun. Anybody who isn't is taking this thing too seriously.
I don't hate anything, especially Dolphin players - especially ones who are not deserving of such sour reactions from fans. It's the same thing that causes most of you to idiotically condemn Ginn's production while ignoring the facts.
It's not about taking the game seriously, it's about simple awareness of the amount of fans out there who are taking shots at him undeservedly.
Again, for those that haven't been reading every post, or even every other page... we do not hate Ted Ginn... He is a Miami Dolphin, and we love him for that... yet this game is to pick ONE survivor... and since Teddy won last year, he's had his moment in the spotlight... it's time for someone else to win, someone who MANY feel is more deserving. We are simply ensuring that happens.
Who deserves to get voted for or against is all relative. The most important rule of this game is that you can vote for or against any player you want. Disagreeing is the fun of the game. Being bitter about it is taking things too seriously. I don't get mad because I feel that some people are voting for Ginn just to keep last year's mafia going. I simply vote the other way to counter what I don't agree with. That's what we're all doing here. No hate, or malice towards anyone or any player.
Red herring. If you had any kind of feeling of validity for this contest you would be eliminating those you feel don't deserve to be there. I couldn't care less who won last year, but I'm losing interest in this due to how many of you are seeking to eliminate our best WR before most of these other guys. Its pathetic that you are sitting here trying to explain how you love Teddy Ginn while giving him such negative attention throughout the thread.
I loves me some Ginn. Good WR, good person, great potential. However, Ginn mafia can only be stopped by removing Ginn asap. Then, and only then, can rational voting can commence once again.

Instead of writing the whole thing up... +1 for Ginn.....People do you really just read the boxscores? Ginn does alot to open things up for our offense when Safteys have to account for his speed, please show you REALLy know football and not just a stat line reader. -1 for Cammy....Ummmm this guy may not even be a Dolphin in 4 months.
Who ever said anyone was breaking rules? I'm just criticizing the undeserved hatred that most of you are spewing at him. I have been following the thread and reading what most of you have been saying, and all I can do is hope that he continues on his path of success, and hopefully the rest of you will wake up and realize that we are lucky to have someone with his ability & dedication. You guys are the epitome of "haters".
I hope you lose online service for a week, and then Tv reception for the Fins opener. Yes, I know, a harsh jinx - but you have put a wrinkle in my panty.
Chad Henne [16] Chad Pennington [56] Davone Bess [17] Ted Ginn [09] - If you hate Ginn and you know it clap your hands....CLAP CLAP Ronnie Brown [79] Will Allen [12] Ricky Williams [13] Yeremiah Bell [21] Patrick Cobbs [3] Joey Porter [31] Kendall Langford [13] Vernon Carey [14] Jake Long [76] Anthony Fasano [11] Greg Camarillo [11] Phillip Merling [9] Matt Roth [12] Tony Sparano [27] Jason Taylor [20]+
I don't mind Ginn and I hope he does well for us. But if he's somehow no longer a Dolphin either signed or traded elsewhere, I have no reason to show any love for him. Same went for Culpepper. Hated him before he became a Dolphin, begrudgingly accepted him when he was on the team, and am thrilled he became the starting QB for the worst team in recent NFL history.
at this point in the game i'd say the rational votes are the ones trying to keep our #1 receiver in the game i don't see how voting for our #1 receiver and eliminating other people is irrational?
Not a valid vote. You're welcome to add this same vote to a list, and it will count. Can't expect somebody else to have to copy your vote in for you.
wow, wishing ill will on others, calling us haters, attacking us personally... all I have to say is... "If you're afraid of getting a rotten apple, don't go to the barrel. Get it off the tree. "
You're not breaking any rules. Nobody is. I don't know how many more times I can say I hope and believe Ted Ginn can have an amazing season in 2009. Doesn't mean he should win survivor based on 2008. If you're voting based on potential in 2009, that's fine, but that's not my personal strategy. I'm voting based on last year's awesome season and what some of these other guys did. Toss names around all you want. If you're going to let this "silly little forum game" ruin your day maybe you should take a break.
To each his own. I've already made my point. I will support Ginn as a Dolphin. I have no reason otherwise if he's not. You don't like it? Tough.
If that category is Dolphin players that were acquired instead of someone else I wanted then sure. Otherwise, you're looking too much into it.
