just wrote an article on what i thought the most effective dolphins plays were last year. i think we will be able to incorporate all of them in 2009. let me know what you think, i may have played a favorite with my number two top play, but hey davone bess is awesome. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/180062-miami-dolphins-five-best-plays-of-2008
Good read 23. Thanks. Count me as another in the Polite camp. He was money last year in those really short yardage situations. I think ultimately any "5 Most" list is subjective, but yours is a good one.
i wonder how the new rule on kickoffs "not being allowed to have a wall of blockers" will affect our kick return game. i wonder if Ginn, or whoever we have returning kicks will have an advantage or a disadvantage.
Awesome article. Bess was our engine for continuing drives. Loueska Polite on short yardage was amazing. And the sleeper Patrick "corn on the" Cobbs was the biggest suprise for me last season. Want to talk about a utility guy who doesn't give up? Talk about Cobbs. He's one of those guys you wish all your players played like. One other play that might fit into your list at say number 6 might be the end around hand off's to Ginn. When he would come off the sweep will full speed and flat footed LB's and DB's, a large gain was comming. I think we really could see more of it this year as Henning didn't really implement it until late in the year. It was a great off direction play to get Ginn the ball in space. Great write up 23 and welcome to the best Phins site around!
thanks for the nice remarks. i considered putting that play on there aqua, it came down to cobbs on kick returns or end arounds to ginn for the bonus play. turns out i just like cobbs more than ginn lol.
