Terminator 4: Salvation

Its no big deal right now.

You gotta figure its 20 years before the T-800 Model 101 became the Arnold mold.

Hence, the machines changed the face around and whatnot. Remember that in T1 when the Terminator infiltrated the human compound and started to kill everyone it was a Terminator but not with an Arnold 'mold'. (Remember the scene that Kyle Reese is having a flashback looking at Sarah Connors picture, in the future, and when the Terminator attacks that picture gets burned?)

Also, remember that they had "rubber skin" etc. etc. and where more easily detectable. Then when the Arnold mold came around they could sweat, bleed etc. etc.

Yeah anyway I am just saying....

 

Um, wow, that sounds absolutely awful. Fortunately, I tend to think that anything floating around right now is bull****.

 

Teaser Trailer didn't look bad. I liked how they used the "viral" video look and sound to play the theme, that was something that really bothered me about T3 - we didn't get to hear the Terminator theme until the end credits. Still, this is a McG project, so I can't get too excited, because as a director I think he's pretty much crap.

Thats really cool.

Terminator franchise = Arnold to me so this is awesome news.

 

I like the TV show also, its not bad.

 

I really like the Terminator series, but they've cast and recast the core folks in the story so many times it's really lost it's meaning. Keep in mind this franchise is going on 25 years old now.

I like Christian Bale, I think he's the right guy for the role, but I really don't like McG ... I thought the Charlie's Angels movies were awful, and I'm afraid we'll see that kind of style brought to the Terminator franchise.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe he makes an awesome straight up action movie.

 

I love the new trailer, I want to see this movie now.

I cannot wait to get it on blu-ray.

 

Must watch for anyone looking forward to this movie.

Good movie, loud movie for sure

 

I was a bit disappointed with this outing. The movie had fantastic effects and yes it was loud, the story was cool enough, but it just didn't feel like a Terminator movie.

 

Agree.

It didn't live up to billing or the movies before it.

 

It wasnt T1 or T2, but I thought it was infinitely better than T3.

 

I was very, very, very disappointed. Sure, things blew up awful purty, but when you look at what actually happened during the movie and how the story progressed, well ... it didn't.
