"In New England, if (Tom) Brady gets hurt, that changes their season. The same thing with Indianapolis and Peyton Manning," Feely said Thursday.
But has not every team suffered more INJs this year. I mean also look at the Bills 12 on IR with a Rookie QB and Fred jackson who was 4th string prior to wash and they are 6-6
The only difference is Buffalo was a pretty decent team before the injuries. We sucked anyhow then got a ridiculous amount of injuries to boot.
Here I will have to say I am pleasently surprised. I think we have found some depth that many people did not think we have
C'mon BFP; normally ANY team that loses their starting QB AND starting #1 offensive playmaker (in our case it's RB) is going to suffer. The Bills appear to be an exception....I did say appear. One thing that truly helps your cause, is the upgrade to the O-line; maybe other factors, as well. Who can tell? It could very well be that if JP stays healthy he would have gotten into a zone and done better than TE is doing now. Point being if Rivers and Tomlinson go down for the year SD is dead in the water. Likewise, Manning and Addai; Brady and Moss. Or how about Rothlesburger and Ward? In fact, if Brady and Moss were on IR and had been for the past several weeks the Bills would be so far in the lead for the division, you guys would already be exhaling. Our problem is compounded by a rookie HC, other key injuries and bad past drafts.
in week 4 we got pounded by the sorry raiders and had chambers, Trent green, Ronnie brown, Zach Thomas, hill, and still were losing every game. team was sorry from day 1.
