Dolphins notebook: Sean Smith getting reps with first team http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/football/story/1078562.html?asset_id=1078523&asset_type=gallery Dolphins' young defensive ends face pressure http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/football/miami-dolphins/story/1078561.html
And 1 sack, he had 12 in 3 yrs at Clemson, he didn't stuff the run last season, and he didn't get up field very well either and if one reads the link even he says he has to improve on that skill. This despite the "experts" repeating the mantra of "our De's really don't rush the passer in our scheme"...yes they do, they are just not very good at it.

I wouldn't be shocked if Smith was elevated solely to motivate Vontae Davis. A healthy rivalry between Smith and Davis can only help this team.
I wrote that in haste, however there were more then a few times that when I posited we needed more passrush from our De's, that "our De's don't rush the passer, that is not their job"... 5 or 6 sacks for two of them, that would make a big difference
I watched a few of his highlights. Sick speed and agility. I think he's a more complete receiver than anything we have. I'm glad he's in a different conference.
I get the feeling the #1 'SPARANO GUY' on the team is Roth. Coach S. seems to always have something good to say about him.
our DB's suddenly look awesome in their potential to dominate the field bet a lot of NFL teams are taking notice, especially in the AFC East when you add this to an incredible pass rush, I can assure you this is not going to be the cake walk of years past
