"The spying robot, about two meters long and covered in army camouflage, mimics the movements and appearance of a real snake, slithering around through caves, tunnels, cracks and buildings, sending images and sound back to a soldier controlling the device through a laptop. The snake has a single camera on front end." http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1244371047887&pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull This is just too freaking cool for words.
It could go in the Science forum. But my take on the story wasn't so much as a scientific advance but more of just a really cool idea. That seems a little more like "Lounge" material
Even cooler... [ame="http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=139523333240485714"]swimming snake robot[/ame]
That is unreal. I feel the same sense of revulsion watching that thing as I would from a normal snake
Next up, to put a needle on the front of that snake with some poison in it. What do you mean we killed him? He just got bit by a snake.
