Ronnie Brown [149] + Tony Sparano [301] - lets go Ronnie people... lets support a guy on the field... lets support a guy who has given his all to us since coming in the league... never *****ing about not getting enough carries (which he doesn't), not *****ing about returning kicks, working his *** off to come back and have a pro bowl season after an ACL tear... Ronnie is a survivor, and although Saba... err Sparano had a great year and we love him, lets not put him in the hall of fame after just 1 season of greatness... he should win this competition next year after helping us get to the Superbowl but Ronnie deserves this award this year... a true Miami Dolphins survivor...
i get confused about coaches who have had 1 year of success being anointed the next Shula... PS: we know everyone loves both these remaining guys, its all in good fun any ribbing to get people on the side of who you want..
I don't think still being in the Survivor contest equates to being annointed the next Shula.... But Tony is the brightest star on the coaching front we've had SINCE Shula. All ribbing aside, even putting Tony and Saban in the same sentence just seems wrong, unless you are contrasting opposites....
Ronnie Brown (148) + Tony Sparano (302) - I agree that the contest should be won by a player, not a coach. And, I too think it's a little too much too soon for Sparano in the way of all the accolades. Don't get me wrong...I like him, and I too think he's the best HC since Shula. But, I need to see another winning season, another entry into the playoffs (and, hopefully deeper run into the playoffs) before I anoint him Dolphins Survivor over a pro bowl player. JMHO...
im just talking a comparison after 1 year... i dont see why thats so impossible to see... after 1 year they both had tremendous success with a team that sucked the year prior... both brought drastic changes to the team, and both brought hope to the team after that 1st year... only difference was Saban had a rookie Rb, Ricky fresh off suspension and Gus Frerotte at QB... still finished 9-7... i dont see why the comparison after 1 year is wrong... they both brought good things to the club year 1... thats the only reason im bringing Saban up, because we were all singing his praises after that 1st year, though obviously over time he didn't continue to shine for us... of course we DONT want that for Sparano, but i think thats why its too soon to make him the dolphins survivor after only doing it for 1 season... vote Ronnie
Ronnie Brown (147)- Love Ronnie, but without Sparano, he doesn't sniff the Pro Bowl last year. Tony Sparano (303)+ Bigger part of our success last year, IMO.
Ronnie Brown [147] + Probowl talent with any coach Tony Sparano [303] - Love Sparano, but he wouldn't have sniffed coach of the year without Ronnie and the wildcat
