Man i saw year one last night because the hangover was sold out and boy do i wish i woulda just saved my money and went home. Year one dragged on and on. Aside from a few funny one liners the movie was terrible

    It really is.

I think it gets lost in the shuffle of a lot of other Tarrentino movies.

I saw Jackie Brown in the theater when it came out. Great movie, but unfortunately didn't do that well at the time. People were comparing it way too much to Pulp Fiction.

It was ok. I didn't care for them turning Jason into a more "human" character. Part of the mystique behind Jason was never seeing him run but him always being where you're going. Lots of boobs though.

I saw Year One also. It was ok. I got a couple of laughs.

Hangover was a lot funnier. Lots of scenes with an element of surprise - in a funny way. 4/5 from me.

State Of Play was a decent movie. Some poeple might like the political drama.

year one - not to bad. some juvenile jokes and such, but I thought the plot was pretty clever and all around it was pretty funny.

    By what exactly?

I saw this the other day and 95% of the threatre was laughing the entire time. The first time the old lady came around, it was freaky and "scary", but after that you knew it was coming every single time, they didn't even hide things, and it turned almost into a comedy.

    The goat? Really?
The guy dancing on the fire? Really?
The weird fortune teller guy who it seemed all he could ever say when something "big" was going on was... "Yes"?

So stupid. Such a waste of $$$$$. I feel dumber for seeing that movie!

Finally saw Tropic Thunder. I thought it was a pretty good and funny movie. The script dragged a bit humor wise in the middle but the cast was so good they carried it well.

True story regarding Transformers (the first movie): Mrs. Z slept through it. That's when we knew she needed to get checked for sleep apnea. And sure enough ...

Regarding the sequel, if it outgrosses Star Trek, I'm going to be very disappointed in America.

Michael Bay is to movies, what Danny Devito is to porn.

Just watched Road to Perdition again. What underrated and unappreciated movie that was. Every frame of that film could be blown up and hung on a wall as art. Not too mention, Daniel Craig as un-James Bond as possible, Tom Hanks as a more than convincing bad ***, and the late () Paul Newman, who IMHO is the greatest actor ever.

Sure was. He was Paul Newman's son, the evil one that started the whole mess in the first place. Considering you didn't realize that was him, is a real testament to his chops.
