They would if they got around 6.8 yards per carry.

I also vote for a clone of Barry Sanders and Walter Payton. I do think he should be called Barry Payton though.

This would absolutely have an impact on Ronnie's production. But even with White taking the snaps, I think Ronnie would still have a big role in the wild cat formation. I could see Ronnie playing the roll Ricky played last year, and still getting a fair amount of carries.

    Touche

I don't, I think the best way to utilize both players would be to have Ronnie taking snaps and White in Ricky's role. Take a look at some of the Harvin vids that have been posted here, I think White would be best used in that role running counters and sweeps, I don't see him running up the middle and being effective.

This coaching staff is not going to rely on any one skill player, other than the QB. Ronnie is just a cog, not the focus of our offense.

If Ronnie is willing to be paid like a cog, and not a feature back, I'm sure he will get re-signed. But if he is looking to get paid, he will most likely be on his way.

White not taking snaps would eliminate the threat of a pass however. And I do agree that White is not going to be an effective runner between the tackles, but he can take snaps and not necessarily be asked to do that.

We're not going to get a RB as good as ronnie in free agency. Our best is to draft a guy and train him up ourselves. Best value.

I'm really surprised we didn't resign ronnie or draft a young RB. I think maybe after we sign all our rookies and get down to the final 53 they might have an idea of how much is left on the table to resign Ronnie. If Ernest Wilford turns out to be a disaster at TE and we have to cut him it might make resigning Ronnie hard because of the cap hit.

Not really, he could take the handoff and take a step back to look for receivers or run a sweep and find the open man, a modified HB pass play.

Right, but I was looking for the best way to utilize both Ronnie and White.

He could, but I don't know if that would do enough to discourage teams from loading the box and bringing the house when we entered the Wild Cat formation. Teams would know that if they bring enough of a rush, it would be difficult for White to take a hand off and find the open man down field. But I guess if they had time to get the ball back to Pennington out of the Wild Cat, they could get it to Pat White. I still think him taking the snap directly is what will give defenses fits.

That said, I have no clue how they plan on using Pat White and Ronnie together in the wild cat, but I can't wait to find out. I hope opposing defenses are as clueless as I am!

There are countless ways they can use Ronnie/Pat/Ricky/Cobbs in the Wild Cat. Just taking one of them and lining them up at different positions opens up a whole new set of wrinkles, like Pat lined up at WR. I think they will try everything. It's the only way to keep the defense guessing.

Yes. Spongebob is a menace and a problem. He's been banned from several Dolphins fan sites, and I've seen him sneak his way back on after being banned from them just to cause trouble. He's still a spammer and a troll and helps nothing.
