    I'm all for it! Lets all get behind anything that'll shift the $$ to USA sources of power. Nuclear included (though Yucca Mtn is never going to happen).

    Many claim that the USA has plenty of crude oil ... but foreign oil is much cheaper to get out of the ground. I'm not sure I understand how that affects the consumer since oil is subject to the commodities market, but it would be nice if the money went to US companies. Apparently there's not much profit in American oil due to the expense. With the market setting the price it wouldn't do much good if American companies were selling American oil at a loss.
