No, it's only about 50 pages. The story takes place in the late 19th century. The similarities between the book and the movie end pretty much as soon as he's born.

Push - As I said, I really like it. I don't mind if it doesn't make a lot of sense, I find it fun.

Looks interesting, but unfortunately is already gone from the local theatres. I'll check it out on DVD. I hope it wasn't one of those flicks that you had to see on the 'big screen'.

I saw "The Kite Runner" last night and found it profoundly moving. Highly recommended drama that follows a young boy who learns about the true meaning of friendship, honor and courage while escaping from and returning to war-torn Afghanistan.

im not a big fan of cage but the movie was better than i thought.that said the first half was alot better than the second half. instead of being a sci-fi thriller it was more thriller first half and more sci-fi the second. still a good movie to me. only watched it because a friend brought it over.

Lucky, I insist you read the book. I was so enthralled that I refuse to see the movie. (I know, silly) The symbolism is unparalleled, and for contemporary fiction, it's already made its way to AP lists. You might also like A Thousand Splendid Suns. Less literary merit, yet more suspense from the same author. Enjoy

Watched a double feature from the good folks at the Sci-Fi Channel: The Black Hole starring Judd Nelson and Kristy Swanson (sample line: "You mean we're dealing with a black hole and a monster?!?") and Ba'al: The Storm God. Beautifully awful, both.

Never saw that one, do you remember the Black Hole movie in the late 70's with Ernest Borgnine and Anthony Perkins? I think Disney made it.

Yep, it was a sort of Ghetto Star Wars, that along with those old Sinbad movies with the stop action motion "monsters", Summer Camp used to take us to those flicks for like a Quarter.

Bruno was really funny. They checked my ID twice before letting me in the theater, and I can see why. If you liked Borat you should like this one too.

Are you kidding me? First, Im 15 and got in no problem. Didnt even ask for my ID. I wouldve been screwed. And its a pretty strict theater.

But its the worst movie ever. WAY TOO GAY. The trailer didnt show anything close to what it was. Out of my group of over 10 people who went to see it, only 1 liked it. I really want my money back. And I loved Borat. Its uncomparable. It was like watching a gay porno

    Live from the Internet.
Thursday watched the Johny Dillinger movie.
It was okay. Not great, not bad. Wouldn't watch it again. After they showed Don Frye (and it was him, i double checked after) I pretty much sat there waiting for bigger part from him.
Bruno was a big step up from borat. Now, if you hated the movie, I can see why. Personally, I liked it better than Borat, but again, not saying much. There is some gay moments, but they dont show anything TOO BAD, except till the end. lol. But the moment is sooo outrageous, its not the gay part that gets you thinking WHAT THE @*$#. haha

The majority of people I heard walking out of my theater said they liked it. It was very, very similar to Borat as far as the format. So I understand not liking it based on that, and if you are offended by porn.
