The announcers said last night that they noticed Joba shakes of the catcher more than any other pitcher on the staff. Cervelli caught last night, btw. Maybe that's the reason he pitched well .

I went to todays game, and i am not even mad that we lost today, i am more mad that the first chance i get to see griffey play, he was not even in the line up... but i am glad i went to batting practice to see him hit there. One thing i learned about any baseball game... get there early, and you have a good chance to stay in the lower section of the stadium... I had seats on the top deck behind home plate, instead i stayed near the left field wall...
also, idk why but every time i go to the yankee game, Matsui randomly hits a home run, i seen him hit so many hrs its not even funny, even seen him hit a grand slam... First game i went to this year he got one, and he got one today
terrible bunt tie game....12th inning...first and second nobody out...3-0 count...bunts at possibly ball 4 and right to the pitcher???...he was bailed out by Porsada
The sweep against TOR would have been nice...and Sox loss that same night (either ticked me off more, or gave me a sigh of relief...still not sure) helped. Losing 8 to them, but still only being 1 game back says so much....just not sure if it says more about us...or them. Yanks have been playing very well...little and big things are clicking. Stay healthy....and add a Lefty match up arm (Sherrill?? Ryan??? other??) could be an addition in the works. hard to say.....

Hahahaa...was going to take the bet last night after you posted, but even I wasnt thinking KC had it in them. You are right....we have lost 8 and yet are all square. It will be interesting to see what lead we have heading to the final 10 vs. Sox. Something has to give...we should have a lead logically based on this past performance pattern. The question will be how much of a lead, and how many we need to take of the remaining 10 to retain the lead. Division, WC, lets just get in and go from there. TB is close enough to spoil this.

Game was great, i got to the stadium and was walking to gate 4, and i see a nice car and a real short man, turned out that man was Yogi, i shook his hand, but it was awesome experience, i met him once before but every time you meet someone like that, its special, no matter how many times you meet them...ill post pics later
