There are parts of Bruno that are worse than the scene with Borat and his fat friend?

Yes. This one is like a gay porno. There's gay sex going on.

Well the main story is supposed to be about a gay man and Cohen loves to push the envelope so you sort of had to expect this out of the movie right?...or did you just assume it would be a movie making fun of gay people in the same sort of way Borat was with Eastern Europeans (although from Borat you had to know this movie would probably take it up another notch).

Myself, if Cohen is behind it I'm sure I'll be waiting to be shocked.

Anyway as for the last movie I saw it was "11:14" another one of the many great movies I've found on IFC.

Walked out on "Bruno" 30 minutes in. Just didn't find it funny at all.

You should have stuck around. It definitely got funnier. There was certainly too much shock at times, and less clever humor than I expected.

A shame you left before the last scene. I found it to be a brilliant, ballsy, punch to the face at homophobia. Something that has to be seen to be understood.

But I admit, though I thought the movie was brilliant, the first 30 minutes a lot of jokes fell flat. I was surprised no one walked out in the showing I went to.

The problem with the Sasha Cohen movies is they are one trick ponies so to speak. After awhile it gets old. Borat was funny, that character I do like but Bruno is uncreative, IMO.

The only reason I didnt walk out after the first scene(the gay sex positions one) was because I paid a good $11 for it, and I had this girl I really liked right next to me.

    i Robot.

Okay I know I'm late to the party on this one, I wanted to read the actual stories before I watched it but never got to it. So tonight I put it in the good ole DVD player and was pleasantly surprised. Seriously can I give this movie a 6 out of 5 rating? I'm a huge skeptic when it comes to movies that are even remotely based off of books, but there is always an exception to the rule.

Will Smith is brilliant as usual, and this movie just cements why I believe he is the best actor around today. He's taken so many different roles throughout his career and been great in all of them. The only movie I can say I didnt enjoy was I Am Legend, but Smith was great in that too. The only reason I hated that movie was it butchered a classic piece of literature.

So yeah I'm late on seeing this one but so glad I did.

I saw Bruno. Very funny IMO, but very gay. We brought my 89 year old Mother in Law to the movie, she was quite possibly the oldest living human to go watch that flick. She laughed her *** off, even though she doesn't speak English. Funniest scene IMO: When he saw the Psychic and went through the most horrible miming scene in the history of humanity.

Knowing - Fell asleep half way through. The Gf told me the ending sucked though. Nicolas Cage should stop making movies.

The Onion Movie - The first half hour was clever, but had I not just awoken from the nap I had during Knowing I would've fallen asleep to this as well.

Push - Not bad, although I feel they could've done alot more with it.

There were def some similarities. Both had great potential. IMO, Jumper had great action but lacked in story, and Push had a good story but needed more action.

It doesn't help when your main character admittedly is "lazy with his powers because he never practices them". If I had telekenesis, I'd be using that **** every day and becoming a supreme badass!
