Per PFT, al 65 preseason games will be shown in full -- and in HD -- on the NFL Network this year, including 12 live. Miami is not among the 12 live games this year, but at least you'll get to see them in all their realistic glory. This is a great step in the right direction. Next step: show all of them live on NFL Ticket. IIRC, all regular season games have to be in HD starting this year. No more stragglers. Luv me some HD.
This is good news. I hate watching games in standard definition. Now Directv needs to quit robbing us by asking for a hundred dollar upgrade to superfan just to see games in HD.
Next step...leverage the internet like MLB.TV and set up NFL.TV so I can watch every out of market NFL game I choose.
Here is the replay schedule Monday, August 17 11:00 PM - Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins (HD) Actual kickoff - August 17, 7:30 PM Sunday, August 23 1:00 PM - Carolina Panthers at Miami Dolphins (HD) Actual kickoff - August 22, 7:30 PM Friday, August 28 1:00 PM - Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (HD) Actual kickoff - August 27, 8:00 PM Friday, September 4 1:00 PM - Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints (HD) Actual kickoff - September 3, 8:00 PM Question: when was the last time New Orleans came down here for a preseason game? It seems we go to the Super Dome every single year. EDIT: I looked it up. This will be the seventh time we've played them since 2000. Only two games have been in Miami. Anyway, I would bet that there will be additional airings. There always are. These are just the 'premiers' if you will.
i work for a major cable company and i have a sling box in all the headends so i can see the different nfl games played in different markets accross the us. I only use this when i'm not home b/c i have the NFL sunday ticket.
Could you clarify the bolded part? Are you saying that all games on the Sunday ticket will be HD? I'd be very happy if that were true...I don't want to spend the extra money on Superfan in order to get HD broadcasts...
Make a drive up to Longmont my friend and watch the Dolphins on my 52 HDTV. I'll also have 4 other games on at the same time.
