There have defensive collapses in all 4 games in the 3rd and 4th quarters, even last year...

I know if we would score more points than them it would be a non-issue...but...

In 02, they had the ball 11 minutes of the 4th scoring 6 points...
In 06, they were successfull in 2 of their last 4 drives for 14 points...
In 07, their last 4 out of 4 drives netted them 12 points...
In 08, they were succesfull in 3 out of their last 5 drives, netting 17 points their last 7 from their last minute drive...

It seems that defensively we have not matched well against them, at least they have had an answer to our Defensive schemes, now with more talent, we need to evolve the talent, then we can hold our own...

That would be correct. I'm acutally glad this year it is in Miami because my wife is sick of being dragged down to Houston every year just to see me cry like a baby after the game. Last year was the worst one...a freaking qb sneak!! Although the 4 plus 50yd field goals 2 yrs ago wasn't too much fun either.

I can;t believe they added Connor Barwin to Mario Williams and Amobi Okoye on that D-line, PLUS Brian Cushing at OLB.

Though the Texans only had 25 sacks as a team last year, that should improve with Barwin and Cushing rushing.

With Demeco Ryans in the middle. They should have a good defense next year.

Was that the game that Jay threw a hell of a block after Ricky switched directions on a sweep and took it to the house?

I went to the 06 and 07 games in Houston as I lived there at the time, and wow I was so pissed after leaving those games. Currently Im 0-3 in live games, almost 0-4 but I skipped last years game.

Gah, watching that kicker nail that 55 yarder at the last second was galling ... I hate that team so much now lol.

BTW, I predict at best 9-6 for them. I dont like Kubiak as a coach, and the line still has issues keeping Schaub upright. Kubiak imo is in a playoff or laidoff scenario this season, the owner is losing patience fast.

And Hardcore-most Texans fans were Oilers fans that stopped following the team when it moved to Tennessee. The owner was roundly despised in Houston for holding the town hostage for a stadium and being a cheapskate and bolting when he didnt get his way. When Houston got a new team they all switched over, though yeah there are likely plenty of younger fans who finally got a team to root for. :)

Could have been an Oilers fan who just became a Texans fan when his city got a franchise.
